This is by far the most romantic restaurant on the island. It's fairly new as it opened about 8 months ago. The quality of food is not quite on par w/Flying Fishbone however, FF has gone downhill ...that will be a separate review. You can reserve the private hut for $100... propose or just have the most romantic dinner on the island. They also have a small art gallery where you can eat indoors that does not require an additional charge. It is located right next door to the Flying Fishbone but it's so much more beautiful ... especially because Flying Fishbone tripled their beach seating and there is no privacy between tables! I believe the quality of food will eventually equal the absolutely gorgeous atmosphere. Don't miss this if you are a romantic at heart!

My daughter and I had dinner last Monday and my husband and I had dinner there this past Monday, Feb. 23. Both experiences were WONDERFUL! The food is prepared and presented in a very delicatable way. The ambience is beyond compare to any where else on the island. It really is like your own special piece of Aruba. Lastly the service is the BEST. The staff is there to make the experience memorable in everyway and it certainly was!

Simply the best on the Island. The owners have kept the seating spread out so there is a feeling of being in your own tropical paradise. Try the mushrooms with escargo : ) and the fish specials are incredible. The dirty MARTINO is a hit after dinner also. RELAX, and enjoy the best that Aruba has to offer! Ask for Graca ( manager ) to visit your table as she makes everyone feel special.

We dined here for the first time on our last visit to Aruba. We were accomodated with a table at the edge of the water and the background of a lovely sunset added to the ambience. Service was impeccable, food was great and bar service was knowledgable and quick. Only complaint is that, due to the distance between the kitchen and the farthest table, food can sometimes arrive not as hot as it should be. Otherwise, highly recommended and we will return. One note if you are driving: The house number would tell you this restaurant is located between Brisas del Mar and Flying Fishbone. It's actually past Flying Fishbone on the turnoff from Savaneta Road that takes you to the front of the restaurant.

Ordered a bottle of wine..sorry we are out of that one..ordered 1 of 6 appetizers..sorry we're out..overall not worth the $$$$...torches for atmosphere kept blowing out..sorry,never again.

Our party of eight dined here on Tuesday January 20, 2008. After three emails and a long distance phone call to give the restaurant my credit card we arrived only to find they had no record of our reservation. However they were not busy so they were able to seat us with no problem. The setting was beautiful but it went rapidly downhill from there. The food was average at best. My wife ordered the fresh catch with a spicy papaya and tomato based sauce. The sauce literally tasted like ketchup. The only reason I gave service a 1 was that the computer refused to allow me to give it a negative number. Our waitress was absolutely clueless. I ordered a bottle of chardonnay and she brought a bottle of cabernet. It took over two and one half hours for us to eat and this was without dessert. Had we ordered dessert I'm sure it would have taken another forty-five minutes. When I was finally able to get the check from her I paid in cash because I'm sure it would have taken forever to process my credit card. There are far too many wonderful restaurants on the island to waste our time here. We will not be back.

We originally had reservations at Marina Pirata and when we arrived were told the restaurant was closed...how fortunate for us because we came to your restaurant. I loved the warmth I felt...having the chefs leaning out the kitchen window greeting us. The food was wonderful, the setting was magnificent and our waiter Gilbert couldn't be more attentive. We are telling everyone at the Marriott Ocean Club what a great dining experience we had. We come every year to Aruba and I promise we will be back.

On December 28th my family celebrated
my husband and my 50th wedding anniversary here. The ambiance was
just beautiful. We were seated in the Gazebo and it was very private. There were 6 of us and we all ordered different dishes. Each meal was delicious and perfectly presented. The servers and the host were all very friendly. The service was very slow. Taking into account that this is a new rerstaurant and we were there at the busiest time of year we will definitely be back next year.
