Always our last night favorite... pricy but generally worth every penny! There were 4 of us this year and everyone thoroughly enjoyed dinner! A Filet, Kabota pork, Baked stuffed shrimp and Veal Oscar. All was wonderful... except for my Veal Oscar.... I expected a veal cutlet for this traditional dish, but got a couple of veal sirloin 'tenderized' things! It was too much meat without the presentation and tenderness that I expected! Will I go back...? Yup! Still one of our favorites on the island!

We heard that this was an excellent dining experience, however it was mediocre to say the least. While the staff is very friendly, the food was OK. We ordered appertizers and then my friend ordered French Onion soup. We received out appetizers but they completely forgot about his soup. They never even apologized, they just brougth out the main course which was the Chateaubrian. It had a very burnt taste and parts were chewy. For those prices, I expect a lot more.

This is our second visit to Sunset Grille. We love this place. We sat outside in the cool island breeze, Six of us seated at a round table. We ordered martini salads and baked onion soup. All wonderful tasting and beautiful presentation. Then we had fillets, swordfish and stuffed shrimp. All were delicious!! The best steak we have had on the island. We finished off with coconut chocolate souffle. WOW! Even the dutch coffee was excellent. Our waiter was delightful, friendly and funny (and very efficient.)All six of us are still raving about the food and service. This is "One Happy Island" place.

The food was good but for the cost, not great, we found the restaurant across the street, Pappion to be MUCH better, even though The Sunset Grill is rated higher... The service was not great, and the Red Snapper special was NOT good at all, over cooked.I would not go back here on my next visit to Aruba.Though the Radisson is wonderful their restaurants are not!!!

This was our first real dinner on our honeymoon... we wanted easy, and didn't want to leave the hotel... This was great... I started with a delicious Escargot in Garlic Butter that was delicious, while my wife had the chopped salad, that was delivered in a martini mixer, and served in a martini glass. Very cool. For dinner I had the Veal Oscar with garlic mashed and she had the Filet Mignon with scallopped potatos, both were amazing, plates were big and we took some home (the steak was better than the veal on day two eating) For dessert, we shared a chocolate souffle that was amazing, it was served with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream, along with some blueberries and strawberries, they even took the time to write happy honeymoon in chocolate around the dessert. Delicious.

We went to the Sunset Grille five years ago for our honeymoon and the food was amazing and the place was packed! It was a wonderful experience. When we went back two years ago with my family, I was all excited to take them... however, when we got there, we found out the management and chef had changed. The food wasn't the same as five years ago and truly for the money, was a BIG disappointment. My husband and I were in Aruba for the 3rd time last month and decided to give it another try. I wish we would've gone somewhere else... the service was horrible and the food, again, just mediocre. We won't be going back unless they bring back the old menu/chef.

We ate at the Sunset Grill on the evening of Feb.19, 2009. I am aware that it was part of President's Week and that many families travel with children. We arrived at 7:30, as was indicated on our written reservation, expecting to be seated outside, as requested. We were told our reservation was at 7:00 and that we could no longer sit outside. We were seated inside where the noise was deafening! We made a mistake by not
leaving immediately. There were many large groups of families with small children that shreiked and cryed the entire time. The adults in the groups ignored their children and simply yelled over the din with their friends. Our group of eight could not converse with each other at all because we could not hear each other. We will not be back. The quality of the food was average, as was the presentation. I felt the management did nothing to insure the dining pleasure of all. They brought us two free desserts for the table, but really all we wanted was the bill so we could leave. That took forever to arrive.

After being on the Island 3 times, my (future)husband and I decided to get married in Aruba. After careful consideration on all the restaurants we ate at, we decided on one. So, On June 20, 2008, I had my wedding reception dinner at the Sunset Grille. From start to finish everything was absolutely perfect. The food was outrageous. Everyone raved (31 people) for days how delicious the food was. Almost everyone went back a second time. The staff was phenomenal, went above and beyond what I expected. They even entertained the table of kids we had. I would highly recommed this restaurant to everyone who goes to Aruba.
