Ordered the Arubian wine (it was just ok, but I had to try it) and 3 different tapas. Unfortunately, the menu was in Spanish (Portuguese) and my Spanish is very rusty so I was about 80% sure of what I was ordering (I did find out a few days later though that they do have a menu in English.)
The tapas I had were wonderful with alot of flavor and large enough to share with a few people. I did well with 2 of them but the 3rd one was mussels - and even though I'm not a fan of mussels, they came in an amazing, flavorful sauce so I found myself eating them anyway.
All in all, very good food - chef even stopped by the table to see if I liked everything.
Only downside was that the music was very loud which (as far as I could tell) immediately made one couple (possibly from the U.S.) walk in and walk out right away.

a party of 6 ate there on valentine's day, they were busy with all tables full, mostly local patrons. we found this place online at this website. reminded me a lot of chateau purina. music was good but kind of loud but helped us focus on something other than what we were eating.

I found this hidden gem in the trip reports on Aruba.com before going. We were the only tourists there which is a great sign, that this is true Aruban restaurant.
First let me start by saying, this is one of those off the beaten path restaurants in Noord. If you are adventurous, you will love this restaurant. From the outside, it looks like an old bar. However, this is primarily a Portugese tapas restaurant, but they feature full portion entres also. I went with a group of 3, and we ordered various tapas and shared. The food was excellent. The chef stopped by our table to see how we liked everything. Once we told him how much we enjoyed it and inquired what some of the unique flavors were, he sent two more tapas to our table to try on the house. Although they serve dessert, the restaurant also has a bakery next door that has wonderful sweats to take home, which is what we did.
