We went to Aqua Grill last night and had a great meal. We had the Grouper and Sea Bass. Very cool restaurant and nice atmosphere. We were told to go early to avoid crowd...good idea.

My wife and I recently revisited Aqua Grill and had the best and freshest seafood meal on the island. It has to be my favorite restaurant. My wife had the special of the day ( blckened mahi-mahi) which was fabulous. They even had my favorite wine-Don Melchor 03 ( voted 3rd best wine of the year by Wine Spectator). This restaurant is a must. Try the fresh Oysters.

I heard good things about this place so we might try it again but I was very disappointed with the service. We waited a long time for our appetizers by the time the appetizers came, half way through eating them, the main course shows up and the waiter just dropped it on the table. The food was good and it was close to the hotel. So we may try it again. The kids items were very limited, unlike other places where they were willing to make anything on the menu but small portions.

I don't know why anyone would give this restaurant a negative review! Everything we had was excellent! The waiters were very attentive and friendly. The seafood is fresh and very well prepared. We were not with children, but the restaurant is very child friendly. You can take the kids to the raw bar and show them the whole fish, and live lobsters.

I had the great pleasure of visiting Aruba this past month and am extremely excited about possibly having a timeshare there as well. My wife and I had a great time with the local people and enjoyed the activities in which we indulged in.
One of our best experiences for dining out in Aruba was Aqua Grill (a short walk from our hotel). We travel extensively and eat out most days of the week and this by far was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had (Chilean Sea Bass) and my wife also was estatic about her MahiMahi. These weree are meals for the first night but was able to go back 2 more times. The fish was the best, it cannot get any fresher tasting. The appetizers Tuna Tataki (sp??) and Grav Lax (they say they make it there) were also of the highest quality. We had such a great meal and service that we made it there not only our first night but also 2 other nights. We did not have dessert but we did see some great desserts at the table next to us. I have been in the hotel and restaurant business for just over twenty years and found this restaurant to be top notch, it is second to none in my book. I plan to write them a letter to see if I can get their procedure for the Grav Lax and spices for their Tataki. I could go on forever about the 2 other nights we were there - I will just say if in Aruba you have to go - it is by all the big hotels.
If you like wine - the selection is fantastic for a small island and will not disappoint the wine enthusiast.
