Aqua Grill
Aruba is widely recognized as the culinary capital of the Caribbean, and among the island's many fine restaurants, Aqua Grill is a standout. As the Premier Seafood Restaurant on the island, Aqua Grill boasts a menu of fresh seafood flown in daily from around the world, as well as a selection of non-seafood dishes.

Our friends recommended Aqua Grill. The fish was excellent, very fresh, and far more selection than the usual grouper that most restaurants have. We ate inside, the a/c was quite chilly, so bring a sweater if you get cold. It's somewhat upscale (but still casual). We didn't have reservations but were seated within 5 minutes. If you want to sit outside, you need reservations. We would definitely return here.

Definitely one of the better restaurants on the island. All four of us had a great dinner and the service was excellent. The only reason I didn't give 10s for the food and presentation was because we were at Challet Suisse which I rate as the best food I had on the island (but the service was not good). I would recommend this place to everyone.

Aqua Grill was nothing better, or nothing worse than you would expect. I had the fish (mahi) and it was very good. My wife had the roasted chicken and absolutely loved it. Somewhat upscale setting. All the food was prepared well, but there was nothing to separate the Aqua Grill from any other comparable restaurant in Aruba. That being said, I would recommend it for a very good (but maybe somewhat boring) meal. I suppose predictably good food is a good thing :)

To be prefectly honest, if we had not received a voucher for $100, we may not have eaten here. The prices are quite high but the seafood is really good. One person in our party had the tuna appetizer and he shared with everyone. It was really good. Maybe we would go back next year and maybe not.

We visit Aqua Grill each year we visit Aruba. My wife loves the Tuna Appetizer and once again it was very good.

Other than the Tuna the food was good but not great. Service was very good but not great.

We like to really take our time over dinner and felt a bit rushed.

Much improved over a couple years ago. Food and service were spectacular.
Main dining area is very warm and humid and the staff couldn't do anything to rectify the problem. The eventually offered to move us to the bar area which was much more comfortable.
Toilets are very dark.

We went there with high recomendations and made online reservation 2 months ago. I am not sure they even had the reservation. Half the restaurant was empty and they stuck us in a nosiy room next to very large tables. No one came to our table so we had it moved to another area. I ordered my dinner(red snapper) and the waiter came out it was not available that evening. So i ordered the special and in five minutes he came out again and it was not available. The manager came over and just said sorry with no attempt at making a bad situation better. We left the restaurant with our neighbors agreeing we did the correct thing. Walked two blocks and had the best dinner in a long time at Wacky Wahoo. Do yourself a favor and go there first for better service and better food. Bon Bini

Ate here first night and time in Aruba. Went for a walk and stumbled upon it. The food was very good. We had the salad to start which was nice and fresh. My wife had the seafood medley which was excellent. I had the scallops which were very good, along with the summer squash casserole which was fantastic. It was slightly noisy give a very large party nearby, but tolerable. Service was great. All in all we were very pleased.

Everyone in our party was happy with their dinner. The manager could not have been more attentive which showed in the way the staff attended our table. She definitely managed by example! The food was prepared well - great flavors and perfectly cooked! We were impressed with the way the staff handled a gentlemen in a wheelchair at another table. They seemed to make him feel very comfortable being there. Thank you Aqua Grill for a perfect evening in Aruba.

Been here 3 times over the years, has been fine in the past, what a change. Ordered the sea bass(which I have had over 30 times at other restaurants), it was so over cooked it qualified as fish jerky. My wife ordered polenta and they brought plantains, correct side never showed up. No manager ever came by. I sent back the fish, which was a low cost tail cut about 1/2 inch thick and said I didn't want a new one. Waitress said it was not her fault, it wasn't, the kitchen was the problem. My wife's appetizer was gnocchi and prawns-it was more like shrimp scampi soup-slop!! The Grav lox side items consisted of sour cream mixed with fresh dill-wow-my 3 year old can do that too. The only thing that was good besides the bread was the wine-which thank god wasn't made there. But was over priced, $11 for Wentz chard-come on, I'm not stupid. Will never be back to Aqua grill with Aruba having so many other quality restaurants.
