"Elegant dining in flipflops"

Located at the beach near the airport at the roundabout. Owner Gerco (chef) and Luc (Maitre d') have created a unique dining experience where you can enjoy the best Aruba has to offer: a great view of the ocean and sunset, experienced and friendly staff and high quality food.
Ideal for special occasions or just a wonderful night out!

Barefoot is now our favorite place to eat in Aruba. We ate there on May 18, 2011.
First, the service is great and we really enjoyed talking to one of the owners Luc. Luc and his staff are VERY attentive.

I wish we could have personally thanked the Chef. The lobster, shrimp and scallops in lobster sauce was incredible. I normally do not write reviews, but this review is well deserved. I could list everything we tried, but my mouth is starting water just thinking about it. We enjoyed the food, wine and atmosphere.

Barefoot is a MUST when you visit Aruba. It was the best meal and overall dining experience that we had over the last 8 years that we have been visiting the island.

We loved this place and plan to add it to our list of "must eat at" places for future visits. This wss the location of Mirandi, another fine place to dine. So glad to see another great place open up at this incredible beach location. The huge dining palapa with feet in the sand seating adds to the magical ambiance, and the staff and food were top rate. Had the grouper and filet mignon feature. Others at our table were pleased with their choices too. Great music added a another special touch to our experience. Thanks!!! If I could rate higher than a 10 I would.

Eten is geweldig, wijnkaart uitstekend.

Wonderful View! Very quiet (except for jets landing- which was cool in the dark of the night); the sunset was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The food was excellent. Little mix-up when they forgot our soup/salad but quickly corrected it.

We dined at Barefoot with 14 people. The setting was beautiful, the food was fantastic. I highly recommend the Carribean Group or the Shrimp done in a Blue Cheese sauce (if you like Blue Cheese). They accomodated our 7 children, and the setting was just gorgeous. I highly recommend trying.

Our last night of vacation was complete with a trip to Barefoot Restaurant. When you walk into the restaurant the ambience is beautiful. Soft lighting and tables on the beach or under a giant palapa. The service was excellent. The owner brought over the bottle of wine that we ordered and chatted with us as he opened it. Our server was excellent as well and all of the staff helped each other out. To start we had the lobster Cappuccino soup and the two tomato both excellent. For dinner the Caribbean grouper was my favorite! I wish I had some right now. For dessert was had the grand dessert which was a combo of treats. The Forrest berry soup, Chocolate mouse, and coffee cream burlee were to die for! Sooooo good. This restaurant was a highlight of our trip. It is a very relaxing and romantic environment.

We have now been to Barefoot 4 times in as many months and have loved each experience. The food is delicious and has lots of options (fish, meat, etc) and will alter or prepare any of their dishes to suit your wishes as we experienced.
The atmosphere and setting is first rate. The restaurant is partially outside but sits right on the beach so you get the best of both worlds with part of the inside having sections of the floor being sand.
Luc, the owner, is warm and personable and remembers his regulars and greets them with a big hug. It was nice to see this restaurant's success and it is a "must" on all of our trips to Aruba. It is in our top 2 places to go.
