Bavaria German Restaurant

We went to the restaurant expecting good food based on reviews here and on Trip Advisor. I was extremely disappointed. The people here must have gone for the various beers rather than the food. When we got there the place was empty although a bit early I suppose.
My son's mac and cheese was very greasy or something and went untouched. My 7 year old daughter had no complaints about her chicken tenders. My weinersnitchel was ok but was more like overly fried fast food.
Needless to say we will never go there again.

In summary it is ok if you are looking for a beer garden but not much of a restaurant.

We've been coming to Aruba for many years and have our favorite places to dine. Tonight we found another gem to add to the list. Bavaria is a friendly, charming place and the owners are fantastic. The food is incredible. All homemade and genuine. Had the sauerbraten and just about licked the plate clean. If you want to try some fabulous German food while in Aruba, you must try Bavaria!

Based on very high reviews, I expected more than Bavaria delivered. First, shame on me for ordering grouper instead of a German meal. The mixed vegetables tasted like they were defrosted then placed on the plate. No seasoning, not even salt and the grouper was overcooked. My husband pork dish was good, but there's much better on the island. The chairs are wood planks and uncomfortable. The staff was extremely pleasant and charming, but the food missed the mark.

i visit this restaurant many times at my holiday i like the sauerkraut very much and also the chicken tenders .they have a very friendly staff and amazing cook the place to be in aruba .a lott of german beers served in bigg glaces .also the e k football i watch there germany plays a good match and there were also a lott of local people to watch the game on big screan .a fantastick place for everybody at aruba .ill be back .

Food was excellent, owner-operators were friendly and treated us like friends. The authentic German cuisine was some of the best i have ever had. The schnitzel was awesome, the sausages devine. The selection of appetizers and entrees was very good. Great selection of German beers.
Everyone can like something here, and you should give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Both my husband and I are of European descent so we had to try this place. We wound up having a great meal with plenty of leftovers. Hubby had the chicken schnitzel and I had the pork tenderloin (I forget the German name). Both were very good: flavorful, tender, nice-sized portion. My only complaint is that the server mixed up my order of pan fried potatoes and I got mashed instead. No big deal! The server brought out some applesauce which my 2.5 year old loved. I wish they had their goulash soup to try but they didn't (if you tell them when you'll stop in, they can make it for you!!). The server explained they make it fresh and don't keep leftovers.

Totally enjoyed the potato pancakes! We will be returning to Aruba in Nov and looking forward to dinner at Bavaria. Thank you for being so welcomeing.

We really enjoyed our meal. This was our first visit and we will be sure to revisit. Superb quality, large portions and great prices! The pork tenderloin with mushroom gravy was amazing!

We come to Aruba every year and found this place is a great change of pace! The sausages are terrific, very tasty and fresh. The beer is even better. The owners are so attentive and friendly and ready with a recommendation. A place we will go each year from now on.
