We went there on 11-10-2011 on the reviews that we read about this place. The service was great but the food ,,, Wiener Schitnzal the wife had was taste less and the Pork Cordon Blue was a 4 out of 10 on my list. They were HUGE portions and I wonder if that influences the higher reviews this place got. We are the type that will not say to much to the staff unless it is completly terrible but I would stay away from this one if you are expecting a great German meal.

A nice find and nice surprise. I don't have many German resturants near home to compare this to but enough to know this was very good. So good we went back with a friend during our second week.
I got the Jagersnitzel (twice)which is pork with a mushroom gravy, home fries. Husband got the Rinderoulade , a beef rolled with pickles, bacon and onion, served with gravy and red cabbage. Potato pancakes as an appetizer and the potato soup very good. definitely worth trying !

Peter the owner is very friendly and wants to exceed your expectations. He will go up and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Food is authentic to Germany and tasted very good. The decor is what we imagine a beer tent during Oktoberfest to look like. Nothing fancy, a little kitschy, but once you sit down, the food is all that matters. Service was fast and friendly and food cooked is to order. Highly recommend. This is our 12th visit to Arubu and now one of our must return to resteraunts.

First and foremost, if you are a fan of the Wacky Wahoo, then you will love this place. Bavaria is the best kept secret in Aruba dining because most Americans only have experience with drinking German beer, but not much with the food choice (other than at theme parks).

Especially if you are a return guest to Aruba, then here is your dining experience to try once you have already eaten on the beach - you will not be disappointed with GREAT beer choices imported directly from Germany, hearty food portions, meal prices about two-thirds of the other restaurants and a beer hall dining environment that can welcome big parties of people.

We had a variety of beers, appetizers (Creamy Potato Sout, Pretzels with garlic and Potato Pancakes) and entrees (Pork cutlet with mushoom cream sauce, Grouper fillet and rolled thinly spiced beef) with them all GREAT in unique Bavarian taste and portion size, potatos and small side salad. For the purest, they have a full selection of "wurst" foods.

True advice for the night you want to experiment a little, have a unique experience, leave FULL (and maybe a little buzzed) and only spend $35 per person, this place is a MUST.

The food at Bavaria was very good. The atmosphere could use a little improving. We felt like we were walking into our local VFW or Knights of Columbus Hall. It just wasn't very cozy. We wanted to try some German Beers, but they were out of all but 2. So we really had no option. Our meals were good and the prices seemed reasonable.

We stayed 10 nights in Aruba and ate here twice for dinner. Both times it was absolutely delicious. I recommend the pretzel with garlic sauce appetizer. The pretzels were so soft and amazing. The garlic dipping sauce was also fantastic. I had the #209 Holzfallersnitzel. Breaded pork with sauted onions and pan-fried potatoes. So good I had it both times. The second time the pork was a little over done but so delicious I didn't complain. If you like darker beer I recommend Paulener Salvator. The inside decor could use some updating. The chairs aren't very comfortable. The outside seating is nice but near a busy street. Will definitely go back if I make it to Aruba again!

There are many great restaurants in Aruba. This one is a unique change from the usual menus. The food was authentic and delicious. The staff was friendly. The prices are moderate. We will definitely return to Bavaria on our next trip to
Aruba.

If you love homestyle German cooking, this is the place for you. We had the largest piece of Wienerschnitzel I've ever seen ( Real Veal!!), and the Rindrouladen was tender and full of flavor. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. Peter and his staff work hard to make you feel at home. Definitely worth a visit.

I worked as a chef in different countries and highly recomm. this friendly german restaurant. For the price you pay, there is no restaurant in aruba which can even come close to the quality level of food you get served here. Never had a bad meal here, and i go at least two to three times a week to try different specials on the menu. exper. here.
