Carte Blanche Restaurant

Dined here with my Wife on 10/6/12. Dennis and Glen do a fantastic job of making you feel at home. Dennis explains everything as he cooks it and Glen paired wines with each course. They were both able to tailor a 4 course dinner for me because I am allergic to seafood. We were there for almost 4 hours but seemed like 5 minutes. I highly recommend this dining experience while on Aruba. The restaurant will be moving to a better location as of 1/2/13 on the Bucuti property. Thanks to Dennis and Glen for a memorable evening. My Wife and I have been to Aruba 18 times and this was by far the best dining experience we ever had on the island. Book your reservations way in advance.

This was trip #5 to Aruba for us and the first time dining at Carte Blanche... This is now our favorite restaurant on the island! We had a 5 course meal and each course was better than the next! We were amused by Dennis and Glen the entire night! We can't wait to go back!

Dennis and Glen give you a warm welcome when the restaurant opens. The design of the restaurant is very diffrent from the usual restaurants. There are 14 seats available, those seats are all infront of the kitchen. All the cooking is done infront of you. During the whole evening they kept us entertained. During every dish they give the right wine that complements the dish. This was a wonderfull experience.
The food was amazing and the wines were great. The service was outstanding. I definitely recommend everyone to make a reservation at this fantastic restaurant.

Carte Blanche is an exclusive restaurant only hosting 14 private seats at the chef’s table. Chef Dennis van Daateslaar was charismatic and very friendly. Maitre d’ Glen had a witty, friendly, fun outgoing personality. The food presentation was awesome and the flavor of each course was spectacular.

Carte Blanche is a wild sensory adventure, blending European delicacies with avant-garde delights; a once in a life time culinary experience. All foodies must go!

However, definitely make your reservations well before you get to Aruba.

Five courses prepared in full view and interesting conversation with the wine master and the chef during the entire meal. There are minimum choices but each course was wonderful.

We had no expectations but were curious to try Carte Blanche based on the buzz. We ate there last September and were completely blown away by this unique dining experience. Limited seating and front row seats to Chef Dennis and Maitre'd Glen's outstanding evening of food, wine and conversation. We didn't know anyone when we entered but after four hours had enjoyed the company of our two hosts and several of the other guests that evening. We will definitely return.

My husband and I had dinner at Carte Blanche last thursday.The meal was exceptional as was the service.The wine and martini's the best ever.It is the most unique dining experience we have ever had.We have had many meals in restaurants over the years,but we will never forget this dinner.The food presentation was amazing,and the taste beyond words.We had the pleasure of meeting 2 wonderful people that sat next to us and made dinner even more enjoyable.
Book a reservation well before you plan to visit Aruba.The owners made dinner so much fun very entertaining.

Just had dinner with Dennis and Glen last night. What a memorable evening! It felt like an intimate evening with friends. The food was impeccable, presentation superb. They catered to several special needs in our party amicably, conversed with us throughout the meal, paced the evening perfectly - it was really one of the best dining experiences we've ever had on Aruba, and we have been coming here for 25 years. When we left, Glen ran out to hug us goodbye! Carte Blanche is clearly a labor of love for these guys and you can see and feel it in the food and service. An absolute must! Thanks again, guys - see you next trip!

This restaurant is a must. It was a wonderful experience the moment my husband and I walked into Carte Blanche. We are are both foodies. The food was over the top and the presentation was superb. It was great watching both Dennis and Glenn in action. They both work well together. They both made just like we were old friends. We are glad we had this dinning experience and recommend it to anyone. We can't wait to go back next year. I was very pleased about the evening since I was taking my husband there for his birhday. It was worth every cent I spent. Carte Blanche is now on the top our list of restaurants to go to when we are in Aruba.
I also would like to wish Dennis "Good luck with his new addition to his family".
