Chalet Suisse

We had a great dinner experience here. The service is really good and fast for a five star place. Our kids enjoyed their food and had the option of ordering from the kids menu. We would recommend the grouper, lamb chops and filet. The desserts were awesome, you can't go wrong with those. The only caution I would add is there are no refills on drinks, each one is charged which didn't surprise us. The staff was quick to let us know that shared plates cost $5 which was also clearly stated on the menu. Really good food with efficient service!

WE JUST RETURNED FROM 2 BEAUTIFUL WEEKS IN ARUBA. WE HAD RESEARCHED SEVERAL RESTAURANTS FOR THE "PERFECT" ANNIVERSARY DINNER AND WE DECIDED TO GO TO CHALET SUISSE. WE RESERVED TABLE # 20. IT IS A TABLE FOR 2 IN A ALCOVE. (VERY ROMANTIC) WE HAD CHATEAUBRIAND FOR TWO. "FABULOUS !!!!!. SEPTEMBER IS RED SANGRIA MONTH.. IT WAS THE BEST THAT WE EVER HAD. IT WAS HOUSE MADE. OUR WAITER WAS JAVAIR (NOT SURE OF THE SPELLING) HE WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. AFTER DINNER WE RECEIVED A PIECE OF VERY CHOCOLATE AND VERY RICH CAKE WITH A CANDLE AS A GIFT FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY.. WE HAD THE BEST DINNER THAT EVENING THAN WE HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME. IT WAS SO GOOD WE WENT BACK 2 NIGHTS LATER FOR THE "RACK FOR LAMB". OMG !!!! BEYOND WORDS. THIS IS A MUST GO TO WHEN YOU VISIT ARUBA. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED i PROMISE

Excellent food, great service, lovely atmosphere

We were highly recommended to this restaurant & were extremely disappointed with the quality of our meal. Bland salad, dry lobster tail (had to cut with a knife), 3 dried out shrimp & a tiny thin piece of fish without any flavor! Very Over priced for the quality! Even the coffee was tasteless! Along with the apple strudel! Will not be going back!

We have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years as it is our favorite on the Island. The day we arrive, we are there that night as well as the last night of our trip. The food is very good and the staff and atmosphere are amazing! During our stay which consists of approximately 1 month, 3 times a year we frequent this place often! I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a comfortable, casual eating place with delicious food! We were there in December 2016 and will be there again in February 2017.

This was our first stay in Aruba. We had some great dining experiences, but I would rate this restaurant the best. The waitstaff is most attentive and the quality and presentation of the food is outstanding.

We always make sure to have dinner at Chalet Suisse during our annual trip to Aruba. We just love this restaurant. The food is consistently outstanding, and the staff if courteous and professional.

We have been coming to Aruba for 16 years now, Chalet Suisse has always been one of our must do restaurants. Well last night was no different from any other year. I can honestly say that we have never had a bad meal here. It's not uncommon to have a bad meal every then and now at your favorite restaurants, but not here !! Service is always great and the food is just ridiculously great here...... We were actually saying that we should just go twice every trip !!!

We have been coming here every year for the last 15 years, and we have never been disappointed. Benny welcomes us like family and we are practically carried to our table. The service here is the best on the island, bar none. From the sommelier to the entire staff...it is practically choreographed like a ballet as you are handed each dish efficiently and courteously. Everything we ordered was phenomenal, not to mention reasonably priced. My almond crusted grouper was bigger than the plate! The pro shoot with melon was sliced so thinly you could see through it and it tasted as fabulous as it was delicate. Don't miss this wonderful place.

I had read the negative reviews after making our reservation for 4. I know every experience can be different. I want to say that our food was excellent. We had four different meals. I had the crab cake appetizer and rack of lamb. Our friends had the seafood platter and schnitzel. My husband had two appetizers, the ravioli and linguini mediterrane. I am glad I had the opportunity to return to the Chalet Suisse.
