Enjoy authentic Cuban specialties, such as; "Lechon Carrillo Asado" (roast pork) or the "Ropa Vieja" skirt steak sauteed in a rich "rojo" sauce, and accompanied by a new & extremely exciting "Nuevo Latino" menu featuring fresh seafood & fish done with a delicate, flavorful and colorful touch! Continue to enjoy Cuba's best Salsa music with "Son by Three" every Wednesday & Saturday evenings, when after dinner all the tables are moved off the floor to make way for some of the best "Merengue and Salsa" dancing on the island.

Great place to have Mojitos and listen some live music. The prices are reasonable and the food is great. You need to try their Tres leches dessert.

Here we are again... we did have dinner here and enjoyed it! The fish soup and calamares (appetizers) were REALLY good!! Then we both had the Plato Mixto, with three-meals-in-one: Chopped Sirloin Picadillo (Picadillo de Res - DELICIOUS!), Braised Skirt Steak (Ropa Vieja) and Roast Pork (Lechón Criollo Asado).

Although it was really a lot to eat, I could not resist the brownie and almost fainted at this INSTANT HAPPINESS. Then we sat at the bar for a while and had Cuban and Spanish coffee. Great evening. Especially Yendy was really friendly (she recognized us and laughed a lot - thanks Yendy!).

The live music, however, was a bit uninspired. It was nice, and okay, but not with so much temperament as expected. But DO go there! It's great!

We stopped here for lunch last week and enjoyed it so much that we're definitely going back there this week to have dinner!
In the afternoon it's very quiet so we could not taste the Typical Cuban atmosphere everybody's talking about, but it was nice nevertheless. Beautiful art works on the wall... and the food was REALLY good. We had 'confusion empanadas' and the sandwich 'medianoche' which was really the BEST sandwich until now on this happy island!

We were a group of 3 couples in our mid 30's on our 3rd trip to Aruba - this was our 1st visit to Cuba's Cookin'. We loved the ambiance & the entertainment, but would NOT recommend it for dinner if you are looking to enjoy a truly authentic Cuban meal.

Being of Cuban descent, we enjoy finding Cuban restaurants during our travels; we were looking forward to adding this one to our list! Our party ordered a variety of traditional items including the bistec (steak), lechon (roasted pork), ropa vieja (shredded beef), masitas (fried pork chunks)and chicharrones de pollo (chicken). They were all quite disappointing both in taste and presentation. We also found the quality of the beef to be poor (very tough). The rice & black beans were just ok. Desserts were good, el cafe (cuban espresso) was not! Hefty bill for a very mediocre meal.

However, no complaints about the service, the staff was very attentive & friendly and quite prompt throughout the night.

Considering the ample choice of quality dining available in Aruba, we will not be returning here for dinner. However, we will most definitely return to enjoy after dinner drinks and the live entertainment (which was very good). The atmosphere was quite authentic and enjoyable. It's truly a shame that the food is not on the same level!

Since we decided to try Cuba's in 2005, we now eat here twice every time we visit. I absolutely love this place and it's fabulous home cooked Cuban food. All I can say about dessert is...Tres Leches Poundcake...I can eat the stuff everyday. The Mojitos can't be beat, and I've never had a problem with the very friendly, attentive service at this restaurant. My husband requested the "crunchy rice" from the bottom of the pot and they were happy to come running out with it. The entertainment is great, the atmosphere is awesome and the prices are very reasonable.

The food is great, especially if you really want Cuban food. My wife and I ordered (1) a grouper special and (2) a Cuban speical with 3-meats (Flank steak, pulled pork and ground beef). Both were delicious. We were more in the mood for seafood than beef, and so didn't appreciate the Cuban dish as much as someone else may.
The service was not great. It was hard to get the waitress' attention. I tried to order a second glass of wine in the middle of the meal, but by the time I flagged down the waitress and get her to bring the second glass, the meal was long gone.
A nice place if you are in the mood for Cuban food and mediocre service.

For the past five years we have been coming to Cuba's Cookin, once or twice every vacation. This past trip we were there with a couple for their first time; they couldn’t believe what a great place it is to have diner. We love the atmosphere, it’s a small dining area but decorated with many interesting Cuban artwork, and a wonderful staff, their very friendly. I can’t say enough about the young woman singer, she has been there since we started coming there, she is fantastic, and she has a knack about getting everyone in the place up and dancing, including the help, which made for a fun night out. The food and drinks has always been great, never a bad meal. If you are looking for a fun night out, this is the place for you.

Tried Cuba's Cooking for the first time end of May and after getting lost finally found the restaurant. Atmosphere is fun and people are friendly and warm. Food was good and entertainment is excellent. Service was poor. We indicated we'd skip appetizers to save room for dessert but after finishing dinner, waiter was nowhere to be found and never offered dessert so after about 30 minutes, we flagged down someone for a check. Location left a lot to be desired and we did not feel safe walking to our car. Would not go back.

This was our second time at Cuba's Cookin. The place is fantastic. The food is wonderful, but what makes it so special is its atmosphere. Fun entertainment. We had kids (2 2.5 year-olds) with us this time around and the staff was just great with them. Can't rave about this place enough!

This was one of the most friendly family oriented restaurants that I have ever been to. I've been to Aruba 5 times now, and everytim I go, I have to go to Cuba's Cookin'. The place has such a great atmosphere, by having live music. The food is fantastic! What I love most about the place is that it's hidden away from the main strip through oranjestad, therefore making the place more special!
