Enjoy the freshest fish, biggest shrimp, or the most succulent Caribbean lobster amid the rustic ambiance of the natural driftwood dining room. Our menu includes a large variety of typically Aruban delicacies including our three star fish soup and our mouth-watering filet of fish served with a mild creole sauce (Aruban Style), a seafood lovers dream come true. Furthermore all dishes are prepared with an Aruban touch and accompanied by pan bati, our famous Aruban corn bread.

Great place, definitely worth the visit for fresh seafood. 'Catch of the day' was great, service was abundant and friendly.

The catch of the day - wahoo - fried and Aruban style - was good. The escargots and onion soup was very good. Prices were high, except for the fish (mid 20s-30s). The restaurant is indeed made out of driftwood! We sat in the front near the door as the back was very noisy. Unfortunately, we were in and out in 55 minutes! Even though we asked them to slow down, our meal came before we finished our appetizers. It seemed like they wanted you in and out so that they could get more people in. I was told that they serve 500 a night and the place is small! We would not go back.

Wonderful. The food was excellent. Not a fancy place but very comfortable and relaxing. The fish was so fresh. The owner goes out everyday and catches the fish fresh. We had the Wahoo and it was excellent. It is must pace to eat while your in Aruba...we will be back!!!

This is a 'no-frills' restaurant with excellent seafood. If you want to eat fresh fish at a great price and don't mind dining in a place where the atmosphere isn't 3 stars, this is a good place to go.

The escargot in garlic butter / potato sauce was amazing. For my main course, I selected the shrimp, which were huge and meaty. Yet the overall flavor of the garlic sauce was bland and rather "starchy". The service was great, infact we never saw the same person twice, it seemed as the whole staff was at our table at one point or another. The overall impression of the resturaunt was that of a East Coast, semi-fancy, mom and pop place. The Kind of place in the states that has a big captians wheel as a sign with the words "Seafood" in neon letters. Not too great, but not too bad.

We spent a week in Aruba... and after many reccomendations decided to try their restaurant. We were seated quickly because it was early yet, apx. 6:30pm. The menu had a few selections, mostly seafood, and that was normal everyday stuff. Not one thing different from the run of the mill restaurants in the States. They all push Grouper.., and being from Florida we find that common. My husband ordered a steak and vegetables, I ordered stuffed crab cakes, they both were passable but not exceptional. The steamed vegetables were the highlight of the meal, cooked just right. The iced tea was weak, and no refills. The atmosphere was cute, driftwood pieces nailed to each other to cover the old walls, but i kept picturing the critters living in them, and couldn't wait to get out of there. Sorry. I must say we were very disappointed. The high prices were comparable to the other restaurants... alot for not much. All in all ...... Highly Overrated.

An average, nothing special restaurant. Service was a little rushed at first. Ran out of specials by 8:00. I guess you have to eat early here if you want the special catch of the day. At least the menu was reasonably priced. Wouldn't go back again.

One of our favorite places on the island (with the Flying Fishbone being the first). My wife and I have been at least 7 times. The fresh seafood--often wahoo--prepared a la meuniere is fabulous--one of us gets it each time we go. Very reasonable prices-no more than $13-16 for catch of the day entree. Never had bad service, and servers seem much more friendly than at some other places. A must visit for us on every trip.
