Location, Location, Location. Lovely restaurant. Unfortunately the day we had reservations it poured so there was no seating on the lower terrace. The food was ok. Being from New Jersey the best Italian food is never far away. The thing I didn't like about this restaurant was nothing was given, i.e. bread, etc. If you wanted bread with your dinner, you needed to order it, and their idea of Foccacia is not what it is in Jersey. It looked more like a pita bread. It was the ambiance and atmospher you go for.

Second year in Aruba, second visit to La Trattoria. A must for every visitor to Aruba. The atmosphere and view is superb. The food is excellent with very large portions. We went with another couple from Aruba to picked this restaurant. Really glad we went. We closed the place on Thursday night.

The best view, the best calamari, the best sauce, the best bartender (Rod), and the best pizza. We go there every year and start our trip out by having a drink at the bar and toasting to a wonderful week in paradise. No finer place to start our vacation.

We had dinner over the 4th of July. We had been there a year earlier. We had made reservations but arrived about 1/2 hour early and was promptly seated. We saw the sunset setting on the lower outside deck. What a great experience food was superb and service the best we have ever experienced. We left the largest tip we ever had for a restaurant and well worth it. Desert with expresso was just super. You must visit this place and experience the very best in culinary delights. The waiters and service personnel outstanding.

When we first arrived, they had lost our reservation and we had to wait, which meant we missed the sunset. In addition, we had to sit on the upper part of the deck which is not quite where its happening. Despite these two minor things, we had a great time. Our food was great as well as dessert. I would reccomend this restaurant, but suggest calling to make sure they have your reservation and going to happy hour. Happy Hour is from 5-7 and half price wine (very nice)!

Wish we could remember our waiters name because he was excellent. Took so many pictures of us during our dinner and sunset. What a spectacular restaurant. So glad we were there for our honeymoon!

Don't bother wasting your money. Total disappointment. Although the view is incredible, the food and the service is awful. A piece of cold Lasagna costing close to $40.00. Out of every bottle of wine that we ordered. The smell of goats everywhere. So dark you couldn't see your plate or your food. Rude and unfriendly service.

This restaurant is at the end of the island near the lighthouse. We happened here by accident and it has a very pretty dining area outside overlooking the island. The food is Italian and it was ok. The service was ok too, they do not give you bread, but do give you brushetta to munch on while you wait. I had a pasta dish which was good nothing spectacular. I would not go back to this restaurant, but if you haven't eaten here yet then I would say give it a try. The view is nice, the prices are a bit overpriced and the Italian wasn't the greatest. But then again I live in NYC where they have the best Italian food you could ever eat.

This was the third time my wife and daughter have been to this restaurant. The atmosphere is second to none, and the service was very attentive. The restaurant is easily accessible from the hotel district. Get there early to take a few pictures for your photo album. The only slightly negative comment I have is they should still have a child's menu, even though its a high end restaurant since so many people are there with their children. A must visit!!!
