This was my first time at this restaurant. Given that there are many Italian restaurants on the island, I will not return to this one. We had made a reservation for 2 people inside. When we arrived, we were asked if we'd like inside our outstide. This was a warning sign to me. When we were seated, we found that the air conditioning was dripping down on our headsand menus. While we had been seated for more than 5 minutes, we had no one serve us water or take our drink order. We then requested to bemoved and were told that we would have to wait until a table for 2 was available. Again, we had made a reservation and should not wait.

When we finally were seated, the waiter was very attentive. The food was average. The restaurant was too cold to enjoy the dinner - you needed a sweater.

Given the number of excellent restaurants, I wll not be returing to Giannni's.

I do not know where to begin with this place. A couple from NY recommended this place to us and another couple. So we went there for dinner. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait which turned in to almost an hour. We finally got seated and ordered the infamous Cheese wheel for 4 people. It took the staff an hour to get the cheese wheel out to us once we ordered it. It was good but not near as good as I would have expected it. Our waitress never made it back to our table to get us a second round of drinks. We asked multiple times before we got an order. Lastly we ordered salads to top off the meal and they were pathetic.

This review sounds very negative, but this restaurant would have been closed in a day back in the US. I was extremely shocked that an Italian couple recommended it to us. I do not know how it met there standards. Please spend your money somewhere else. I promise this place is not worth it.

We had the most amazing meal here. You MUST order the whiskey parmesan wheel spaghetti dinner for two which cost $42.

Restaurant is right accross the street from the Hyatt Regency.

They bring out a parmesan wheel to the table and they carve out some cheese in the bottom of the wheel and pour lit whiskey into it to create a sauce. Then they add the spaghetti with tomatoe chunks and I think basil. OMG...it is the best meal I have ever had. Be sure to get a glass of Pinot Noir with it. Huge portion, no need for any soup or salad or dessert for that matter.

I highly recommend it and will definitely be back for more!

This place won't make it a month in Pittsburgh where word of month is the best advertising and a killer for businesses that don't respond to their cutomers. I don't think you could provide worst service even if you tried. A nice place, decent food (albeit over priced and not justified with top of the line service) just not worth the aggrivation. I will never go back.

Located in the hotel area this restaurant offered delicious Italian food. We ordered some Calimari and the Seafood Rissoto. Both were well presented, well prepared and delicious. The thing I liked about the rissoto was that is was not too heavy...but still very delicious. The portions were adequate.

The wait-staff is not so great. Our waiter did not bring us bread when we asked for it, and then again even after he offered to bring some. We ordered a cappuccino and it arrived luke warm. Food did make up for the service though!

Enjoyed this restaurant in 2008 and returned at the recommendation of a local friend. Won't be back. Service was excruciatingly slow although less than 1/4 of the tables were filled. A $12 salad of baby greens with goat cheese contained red lettuce, no baby greens. Orechietti with sausage and broccoli rabe was swimming in 1/2 inch of olive oil. Amusement was provided by watching the hostess seat couple after couple at the table next to the dessert station, only to move them 5 minutes later because the table is directly under the air conditioner. If you're going to charge $70 for two pasta dishes and a salad, the pasta should be out-of-this-world and the service should be stellar. It wasn't.

We went there and in the menu it states check the prices w/your waiter because they may have changed which is what happened w/us. The price for each meal went up over $10.00 per meal and there was four of us - now because of this fact I will never go there again and I will pass this word along to all I know who goes to Aruba. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT.

We were referred to this resturant by a family memeber and loved it. The wait staff was attentive and gave us great suggestions on which appetizer to get. The entree's were good in size and both delicious. I was very pleased and content with our meals. We will return again! I was surpised with the bad reviews I read when I went to post this, from our point of view our meal was fantastic.

This was our third time here and we loved our dinner. We got the spegetti in the cheese wheel and it did not disapoint. Service was very good and the portions are very large. We ate our leftovers on our balcony the next day for lunch and enjoyed it very much. We will be back next year.
