We were somewhat disappointed in our experience at Gianni's. There were four of us. We asked for outdoor seating only to find that the tables along the road (not under the canopy)were not great for dining. Cars and motorcycles sped by and it was just plain noisey. We moved inside and were placed under three huge air conditioning units that blew air on us throughout the meal. We were seated at a table for 6. The waitstaff was very junior - attractive and eager - but in the end not experienced enough. For the first time anywhere in my experience, appetizers and entrees were cold when brought to the table. We all had drinks and dessert as well. We were not favorably impressed to want to return again. Some of our friends really enjoyed it. Perhaps we hit in on a bad night?

We ate here on a sunday nite (8.30pm). The place is nice overall, however the service was lacking. Maybe this is due to the fact that the restaurant just started operating. We were seated at a 6 person table while we were just a couple.

The food we ordered was good, however pretty basic. In addition to that, they brought me the wrong drink twice.

However i will still give them the benefit of the doubt, and further along the road give it a second try.

We visited this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. Although reservations are preferred, we were in the are and decided to try. Happily theuy seated us immediately (6:30 PM) and the restaurant was on the quiet side. The service was attentive and the food fantastic. The shrimp dish I had was out of this world and my husbands veal outstanding. Dessert was delicious and they served a free after dinner drink with superb capuccino. At dinners end, the restaurant was packed. We will definitely return there next year.

My wife and I read glowing reviews of Gianni's and we were extremely looking forward to our meal there. We reserved a table inside three days ahead of time and when we got to the restaurant we were told it would be a 45 minute wait for indoor seating but we could be immediately seated outdoors which we did. We were seated right by the street.

We received our bread and water almost immediately but it was probably 10-15 minutes before a server came to our table to take our drink order. She apologized and said that everything was just really busy. I found the service to be average at best the rest of the evening. We got a Brunello wine which was $110 USD and we were the only ones who filled our glasses whereas at a restaurant like this the server should be the main one doing this.

The food was definitely good here but if I had to give it an overall rating i would give it a 6 mostly due to the service aspect as discussed above.

This restaurant is very new so maybe they are still in the developing stages in getting their top servers, etc. I would consider dining here again when we return to Aruba but it would not be a "must go" place like a number of others.

My husband and I have been coming to aruba for 4 years. As you can see the food was good, but, to much salt was used on the dishes. I think if you cut back on all the salt it would have been more enjoyable. We sat against the wall, so we did not benefit from the a/c. If we do go back to the restaurant we would request outside seating..It was to hot to enjoy the meal.

This new restaurant will not be a secret much longer. Everything about it it is outstanding. The pasta special for two, made in flames at your table, is a delicious treat. The cream of spinach soup is to die for. Enjoy!

Luckily we decided to go to this restaurant during our stay at the Radisson, which is right across the street (we enjoyed it so much that we went back for a 2nd time)...the service was fantastic, extremely attentive (I don't think my glass of water was ever empty) and the food was great - some of the best chicken parm I've ever had. Prices are very reasonable ($60 for 2 dinners and a few glasses of wine, and we were even given complimentary after dinner drinks). The reason I gave it a 7 for environment was because it is located right along a busier road, but other than that, the environment is very relaxing and romantic...do youself a favor (if you like Italian) and go to this little talked about restaurant when you're in Aruba!
