After driving by here a few times and seeing how busy it always seemed, we decided to try it and we were very impressed. We arrived about 6:30 p.m. and were seated immediately. The food was delicious and everyone was really nice. It was a very nice, classy place. We opted to sit outside and enjoyed the ambiance of the place. Will definitely make this a definite on our next visit to Aruba.

We've dined here several times since they opened and have always enjoyed our meals. Unfortunately, they are now on a par with the restaurant at the lighthouse. We had minestrone and pasta fagioli which was passable. Then we had gnocci and pasta with Bolognese sauce, both of which were inedible because someone in the kitchen was overzealous with the salt. When we complained, the waitress said she had asked earlier how our meal was and we hadn't mentioned anything. True, she stopped and asked if everything was ok during the appetizer course, but we never saw her after that. She did ask if we'd like something else but, at that point, we just wanted to leave. I would have thought that they might not charge us for at least one of the meals but we were presented with a check for the full amount. To add insult to injury, we parked our own car and, upon leaving, the valet held his hand out for a tip. Needless to say, this is off our list of "must visit" restaurants. It's lovely and it's beautiful sitting outside on the terrace but the food is simply awful.

The place lures you in with the smell of roasting garlic, but that's all it is. An uninspired, tired menu you've seen a million times. Food was over salted over over cheesy. Also, how do you serve only 2 pieces of bread in an Italian restaurant?! It was actually the best part of the meal. The staff and service were very good, but the food was blah. We cook traditional Italian at home and this place misses the mark. They should ask for help from Forlini's in NYC.

We ate an early dinner with our son, his wife and two young children. Service was very good and responded to our children's needs. Food was good, not exceptional. Wine list a bit pricey. Got the order confused, but responded quickly to our concern. Lovely setting.

When we see the reviews, we can't believe the things that were reported. This is one of the best restaurants in Aruba and we have eaten there at least once a week since they opened. All you need to do is look at the occupancy and long lines waiting to get seated. The food is varied and all is excellent. The management is always on-site and willing to do anything it can to please their guests. Try their artichokes...

We didn't have a reservation but were seated in 15 minutes so that was great. However, the service in our area was terrible. We waited for an hour for our dinner. The food was great, but not worth the wait!

I was one of the very first customers when they opened on Jan 2007 and I will say this when I am in Aruba which is about four times a year the only place I eat is at Gianni's! I recommend that if you have a group of 4 please asked for the owner Daniel and tell him Dave from New Jersey tall guy with a Bald head said please make our selection for us. Daniel will surprise you from A to Z.

Gianni's was named after the Daniel father who I found out past on but I know that Daniel father is looking down from heaven and is still very proud of his son Daniel for all his hard work. If you are in Aruba and don't try Gianni's you will miss out on one of the best experiences while in Aruba!

Decided to try Gianni's on our 5th visit to Aruba, and we enjoyed it very much. All our meals were very good and the service was great. In looking at other reviews, and knowing they only take reservations for 5:30, 7:30 and 9:00, I'm thinking service might be better for the first seating (the one we had-we had small children) since there aren't as many people there and because it's a 2 hour seating. We will be back for sure, because we had a great experience.

On our first couple of trips to Aruba, we would walk by the patio of Gianni's, which was always busy, and think we should try it out. On our third trip, we finally did try eating here and were very impressed by the food. We have now eaten here 4 times and the food has always been outstanding. Gianni's is our favorite Italian restaurant on the island!

Went here our last night - showed up without reservations around 830PM and were seated in 10 minutes. Just got entrees which included pasta with puttanesca sauce, fettucine alfredo, and risotto with seafood, all of which were great. Service was also outstanding. Not everyone seems to enjoy this restaurant but we have always had good luck there.
