and Don't miss dessert! Friendly greeting by the owner, we didn't have a reservation either. The waitress and waiter became our friends. Great place to celebrate a special occasion...My birthday! Gorgeous setting. Loved it!

The food at this restaurant is so delicious, that we ate here 3 times, ordering something different on each occasion. Loved watching the professional activity in the kitchen. Outside terrace is also lovely.

The owner works in the kitchen so you know it is good! We are picky eaters and everything was fantastic. From the soups & salads & homemade (on site) bread to the entrees. We ate there twice in one week it was so good (have nothing as good in our area in the US!) and didn't have room for desert either time! They kept the large groups in one room and the couples in a more quiet, romantic room (there is also outside seating.) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We sat in an open room that was kind of noisy but nice. Our waitress, Miguelina was great. She made some good suggestions that were right on. She was very personable. I started with the Caesar Salad. It was fresh, cold and good. I had the Veal Parmesan which was very good. The portions are generous. My wife had the lasagna which was also very good. There were four of us. We had a bottle of $40 wine and desert. Not Including tip, the bill was $270.

We visited Hostraia Da Vittorio the week of August 2-9, 2007. This was the first time but definately not the last. The menu was huge. There was so much on it it was hard to make up my mind. The food was excellent. Reservations are really needed because the crowds come pouring in.

We loved this restaurant. Went there two times in the six days we were there. recommend for all.

This was our 4th visit to Aruba and 3rd visit to this restaurant. We will not be back again. It wasn't as good the 2nd time as the first, and this time I sent it back. I truly believe I asked for a veal dish but was served a pork cutlet - I couldn't cut it. While the owner did offer to cook it again, who wants to wait around while others are eating. The waitress told us, "if you don't eat it, I have to pay for it." When we got back to our hotel, another couple told us they also didn't think the food was worth it and it was more pricey than other restaurants which were much better.

This place was reccommended by our hotel concierge, and it was a pleasant suprise. The staff was incredibly friendly and we had a ton of staff members getting our order, wine, bread, water and checking up on us. My wife was pleaded with her pasta, and my risotto pescatore was GREAT! It was full of squid, mussels, shrimp, etc. and the risotto itself is top notch. We were very pleased with this selection.

The food was fantastic. They use all fresh ingredient and you can taste the difference. Both the staff and environment were great. I highly reccommend it.

I would highly recommend Hostaria Da Vittorio. I, like others, went twice in one week. Food is authentic Italian, service was wonderful and the atmosphere is charming. Overall pleasant experience.
