I stayed at the Marina Towers and had a dinner voucher for L.G. Smith's. We sat for twenty minutes before any waiter approached our table. At the next table a couple from the Netherlands had to scold their waiter for rushing them. He had attempted to take their salad before they were finished and to bring their entree. They also told the manager about our lack of service. I won't eat there again. For a good steakhouse try Texas de Brazil.

Typical casino-resort steak house. There's six or seven just like it in Reno, and probably 30 in Vegas. Beautiful decor, attentive service. Food was exactly what you'd expect except my baked potato arrived cold, and I asked for a blended sour, and it came on the rocks. It was fine, if you're looking for an American style upscale place, but next time we'll skip it, and try a place with more local flavor.

During my 2-year stay on Aruba I had diner at LG's several times. The food is great, service wonderful and the location is excellent, right in the middle of Oranjestad!! The restaurant also offers a great menu in combination with the Let's Go Latin show of the Renaissance. And for the women who like chocolate; you should definitely check out the desert menu....
Hope to be back soon.

Make sure you order the tomato soup and a crab cake. This is a great place for appetizers and a drink at the bar.

Good steak, but who can't cook a steak right with a little practice.

Trendy atmosphere.

Desserts are a little too sweet for me.

Service is good, but not as good as a year ago.

We´ve had a wonderfull diner on December 13th 2006. The environment is nice, the food is even better and the service is excellent. Thanks to the LG crew, we had an unforgettable experience.

When we first arrived, with a group of 14, the private room, which was reserved 10 days in advance was not available - no apology was offered, only a bad case of attitude! We were finally seated in the main dinning room after a 30 min wait.

Midway through our meal a 70+ person group was seated around us. The group mainly consisted of young children and the noise level become unbearable. It was impossible to hold a conversation and enjoy our meal.

Finally, serving desert was a complete joke. It took more than 30 mins to serve a fruit salad, more than 20 mins after all other deserts had been served and finished.

Overall the food was good, but based on the overall dinning experience we cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant.

Comparable to other steakhouses we ate at during our trip, this one wasn't the BEST, but it was definitely very good, and still better than steak in the US. The contemporary atmosphere was very nice, and our view overlooked the marina. If you aren't a steak-lover, you could probably skip this one in favor of El Gaucho or one of the others.

We spent our honeymoon in Aruba in early September and we went to LG's one night and it was just DELICIOUS! Both my husband and I had "Surf and Turf" which was outstanding. The lobster tail was grilled to perfection and the steak was moist and juicy (even though it was well done which I like). The Chimichurri sauce we had with the steak was the best we ever had. No joke. For dessert we had Creme Brulee and we split in for both of us (it was pretty big). My husband is not a dessert person and he truly enjoyed the creme brulee. We truly enjoyed this restaurant and will definitely go back!

My wife and I went to dinner at LG's tonight and all I can say is this experience was phenomenal. The steak was superb and my wife said the lobster was to die for...wine was great and the ambiance was fresh, stylish and fun. We even saved room for dessert. I had the creme brulee and my wife had the chocolate threesome...yes, that is what it was named. Go, you will not regret it.

OMG! Is all I can say. Went here on a recommendation from a friend. I have been to Aruba 6 times, and have never eaten here. Well i was truly missing this..... Had the crab cake as an appititzer, it was great, delicious to be exact. Husband had the shrimp cocktail, that too was good. Had the Lobster for main course, very filling, nice size portions, also delicious. Husband had the Lamb Chops, very good also. mango crumb cake is well worth the try. The cheesecake was so so. Overall, I truly enjoyed the dining experierce that LG had to offer. If you can get a table by the window, gives you a nice ocean view. Enjoy!!!
