L.G. Smith's Steak & Chop House

Very nice restaurant located on a very good location. The food was delicious and the people working there were very kind. Especially Francios was very helpful, you really get a personal service at LG Smith Steak & Chop house. This is definitely a must for people visiting Aruba.

We have been visiting Aruba for a long time and one thing we always do when we are here is to have dinner at L.G. Smith's.
The food is delicious and Francois is the best there is, he is very polite and professional.
Also the servers are fast and knowledgeable. A classy place to return to.

Excellent we make it a point to come here every visit to aruba. Everything is always prepared as ordered, and well presented. This is a Must when visiting aruba if you want a good meal

Third visit to Renaissance. Learned to eat at Smith's on Sunday -- many others closed. Very good food, good value. You don't get a "home" feeling at LG Smiths like in other places (Gostoso for example). They have a good Early-Bird special that can save a few dollars while giving you a top of the line dinner. Solid place that we will re-visit.

We are repeated guests and this is our favorite! Andre our server is always so helpful and polite! The food was delicious!

We love everything about this restaurant!! The food and service is awesome. My husband said the rack of lamb was the best he ever had and the filet I had was wonderful. A must go!!!

We always go to this restaurant for the last 2 years we've been coming to Aruba. This year was really a disappointment. The service was really bad, not like last year. And the food wasn't so tasteful as alway. For that price the should have more attention. To bad, may be next year we will try it one more time. But not this time!

Another one of our "must do" on every visit. We've never had a bad experience in 8 visits. We started with a crab cake and calamari. Both were very good and not alot of breading in the crab cake. Entrees consisted of my favorite rack of lamb which during our visit did have 6 bones. You do get your choice of 2 sides which I like. Hubby had the ribeye with their chimichurri which is a cream base not oil. Service was excellent. I felt bad for the server when the first bottle of wine cork broke apart into the wine and the 2nd bottle was corked. The 3rd bottle was fine. He handled the situation perfectly.

I love this place! Had the lamb and it was great as always. Only complaint was they cut the portion from 6 bones to 4 and kept the same price. That won't stop me from going again!
