LG Smith's is definitely worth a visit during your stay at Aruba! We enjoyed a lovely steak dinner and wonderful wine. The restaurant is a beautiful environment to spend your evening especially with many thanks to the hospitality of the staff. Thanks a lot & see you next year!

We went with the whole family and got a nice window seat.
Our servant was Jean. He did a great job. He had a perfect balance in when to talk to the customer and when not to. He also suggested a real good wine (Malbec red).
The food was very good. We got 2 US choice steaks and a spaghetti for our daughter. There were no left-over’s from the steaks.
Our overall rate for the restaurant is a 9. For sure we will tell other people about our experience and suggest the restaurant to them.

Rgds,
Armand

WE WERE SO LOOKING FORWARD TO DINING HERE AGAIN ON VACATON BUT THIS TIME WE WERE DISAPPOINTED. WE DINED ON MOTHER'S DAY AND OUR SERVICE WAS PRACTICALLY NON EXISTENT.
WE HAD TO SEND BACK AN OVER COOKED PIECE OF STEAK, AND FROM THEN ON WE WERE SHUNNED BY THE WAITE STAFF. INSTEAD OF TRYING TO MAKE THE SITUATION BETTER (ONE OF US ATE WHILE ONE WATCHED)WE FELT COMPLETELY IGNORDED. TOO BAD BECAUSE I LOVE THIS PLACE.

We ate here with our 2 daughters (ages 10 & 13). This was by far the best restaurant we visited while in Aruba!!! We ate at Que Pasa, Yemanja, Gambero Rossi, etc., but L.G. Smith was the best. The service was very prompt and courtesy. The menu was very accomodating for my picky 10 year old. The steaks were outstanding (quality and prepartion)and the deserts were unbelievable (must try the house special desert - mascarpone tart). The prices were very reasonable - probably one of our less expensive meals. I highly recommend this place especially if you are looking for a great steak!!!

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone with children at all. They were extremely rude and the service was poor. I have been going to the island for over 10 years and would not waste my time or money to ever go here again. The food was average at best and the adults had varying menu items and we had to find waiters to help us as opposed to them checking to see if we needed anything. Also, the menu for the children is poor with nothing really available for them and if you bring anything to the restaurant for your children to eat besides what they serve, you were told by the manager of the restaurant that it was unacceptable to give food other than the menu items.
