This place has incredible pancakes! And they are HUGE! You can design your own, and they have gluten free. I highly recommend!!!!

House of Flies

Nov 13, 2014 - posted by
This is one of the disgusting places that I ate on the Island. I spent the whole time swatting flies off my table. I wish you could upload pictures, for flies had their heads down in the holes of the powdered sugar containers. I took a picture of an empty table, with six flies on it, I would hate to see what is flying around the different batters in the kitchen.
There were three tables that had people at Linda's while we were there, and they must of had about 6-7 workers, yet you could not get service worth a darn. I asked for a refill on my iced tea, they said that was another charge, no refills on iced tea? I said how about my wife, can she get a refill on her water. You can't eat the food without flies on it before hand, it is just gross. The place is kept up, but $30 plus dollars for two people buys a lot of pancake batter. The fruit, pineapple was not fresh, it was out of a can. Not good for these prices.

Good breakfast

Great pancake house. Had the strawberry wife had the piņa colada with a shot of Malibu rum. A little pricey for breakfast $36 with tip and we had coffee. Worth making at least one trip there.

3 visits to Linda's in 2013

Feb 16, 2013 - posted by
We went to Linda's three times during our vacation this year.

You simply can't beat Linda's Dutch Pancakes for breakfast (2 visits). They are the best gigantic pancakes with a great list of toppings. We walk out to Linda's from the High Rise Hotels it is a good 1 mile walk but gets you ready for a great breakfast.

We decided to try Linda's for dinner once as well. Their Pizza was pretty good nice flavor a different style than the standard NY style pizza. It was nice.

Linda's sits on a busy road so the Atmosphere certainly isn't up to many restaurants for a nice evening out but for breakfast Linda's can't be beat.

Unique

I have never had pancakes like these. they are really like a crepe but they are not folded over. They are the size of a large pizza. You may want to share. they have both sweet and savory combinations. Some are even served with a shot of liquor. This is a must try for all!!!

We never miss a chance to have Pancakes at Li

We've been going to Aruba for years and never miss a stop a Linda's for pancakes (at least once a trip). Love them and the fact that it is nothing like anything we can get (easily) in the States. Food quality and service are always very good. My favorite is the brie and walnut pancake.

Linda's fills a much-needed niche -- delicious, casual fare --and is perfect for families looking for a less formal (and much cheaper) alternative to the high-end restaurants. Dutch pancakes and gouda-cheese pizza pleased our picky kids, and we found the salads and peanut chicken very good. Nothing fancy, but delicious food with reliable service.

We visited Aruba over thanksgiving 2011. My husband had found Linda's online prior to our arrival, so we knew it was one of the spots we would visit. The gluten free menu was the original draw, but the food and service was what got us back three additional times during our visit. The owner Stephan was friendly, open and committed to offering not only great food for all, but great food for special diets as well. The salads are amazing for dinner as well - with the chef's secret dressing recipe (we tried to get the recipe, but no luck) We loved this place and plan to return on our next visit to Aruba.

We go to Linda's once every visit for a true Dutch pancake. The terrace is usually rather hot and muggy, but this year it was ok. Being from the Netherlands and living in the States, I miss the real Dutch pancakes. This places serves them! We ordered ours, mine with bacon, apple, cheese and mushrooms. Very tasty, couldn't finish mine by far, but memories of my childhood. It's so authentic and I hope Americans will try those elaborate pancakes too, not only for breakfast, but for dinner too, the way the Dutch eat them.
