Our dishes are prepared using the freshest ingredients to offer an upscale Caribbean, International and Seafood cuisine.
Matthew’s offers a variety of activities that make it worth visiting.
In addition to full breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, we offer all- you-can-eat spare ribs on Tuesdays, Karaoke on Wednesdays, Italian night on Thursdays and our daily happy hours 3 times per day
from noon – 1pm, 4-6pm featuring live music at the bar and 9-10 pm.

We had breakfast and dinners at Matthews. We tend to sleep in so when we got there for breakfast it was past the breakfast time. We asked if it would be possible to get the breakfast menu and we were delighted when we could order breakfast-very accommodating. The food at all our meals was wonderful, good size servings, but Dante, our server, truely made our dinig experience! He was attentive, very friendly and made us feel like family. I would highly recommend Matthews and ask for Dante for a memorable time! Our stay in Aruba was form 9/4 - 9/11/2010.

Nice restaurant/open air on the beach. I enjoyed the Pina Colada Shrimp for dinner and my husband had the Lasagna. Both were very good and hot in temp. when served...thats a plus in my book. Went on Wed. nite and they had the Karoke...was a fun nite listening to the people sing. The staff gets involved too..up on the bar...fun time!

Every year when i go to Aruba, one of the things i look forward to is going to Matthews for lunch every day. The food is great and the staff is even better. The people who work there are some of the most friendly people on the island. Wednesday nights are awesome there, karaoke tequila conga lines the ghost busters and dancing, its a good time. The restaurant is right on the beach and no matter where you sit in the restaurant you can see the ocean and hear the waves. Matthews is just simply a great place to go!

We own at Casa Del Mar and go to Aruba at least once a year. Matthews is one of our favorite places to go; in fact, the bar is usually the first place we head after leaving the airport! It's the best place on the island to get your fun started -- and to keep it going! The food is excellent and the bar is an absolute blast! Jorge is the best bartender on the island as far as we are concerned; he always makes sure everyone is having a good time and you are sure to leave smiling. This is one place where customer service is still a #1 priority. Be sure to go the welcome party on Wednesday nights; the entertainment is great and you'll have an awesome time. GO - you won't regret it and you'll definitely be back!

Always love going to Matthew's. Everything is wonderful - the food, the service, the location and especially the people working there (Jorge, Ricardo, Angela, Diana and everyone else). It's great all day - from breakfast and lunch, to happy hour, dinner and even karaoke nights! Can't wait to get back to Aruba and to Matthew's!!

Great lobster pasta, kids' meal pricey ($13) but it was a full size pizza, so it was two meals. Best grouper I've ever had. Also had great chicken parmagiana. Service was very attentive; longer than normal island-time on delivery of food reduced rating. Same owners as Rumba, so if you liked their food, you should like it here. They even had a table in the sand (which we did not use, but would be a great honeymoon table).

We enjoyed our dinner at Matthews. Wish we had gone earlier in our trip so we could have returned. Food and service were great. Dessert of choc.mousse-special request-was outstanding. Thank you Ricardo.

The downfall of Matthew’s is the amount of time to get the food out of the kitchen. The wait staff was attentive in filling water glasses, bringing drinks, but the service was horrible in how long we had to wait for our food. The entrees were delicious; the appetizers needed some work. Calamari was seasoned nicely, but it was a bit chewy. Coming from NJ we expected better tomatoes and richer balsamic for caprese salad. You must know that the shrimp sauce is very spicy. Timeshare owners were walking through restaurant as if it was their own home without regard for diners. I would go back for the entrees.
