What a treat. This restaurant is so romantic. It was a magical night! We spent a very relaxing evening and enjoyed delicious food. Without a doubt, we will visit again! I enjoyed the best escargot as an appetizer that I have ever had. My husband really enjoyed a fish soup to start as well.

This restaurant is in a beautiful outdoor setting. For the most part the food was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the Caesar salad that comes with each meal. The onion and cream of mushroom soups were very good. My wife's mahi mahi on the stone was fantastic, but watch out for the spicy sauce as it's really, really hot. The only off note was my shrimp in a coconut cream sauce. The shrimp had a very peculiar texture that put me off and I chose not to finish it. Despite that I highly recommend this restaurant. The wait staff were very pleasant and the service was timely.

This restaurant came highly recommended by friends... it is indeed very romantic and a beautiful place. I didn't mind waiting about 15 min for a table (despite calling ahead for reservations four hours earlier). Malcolm was a very pleasant and accommodating waiter. The food was very good, from appetizer (Kesha yeno) to the soup (Seafood bique and French onion) and the main course (Champagne Casserole and Mahi Mahi on a hot stone). That being said, waiting 30 min between courses was a bit annoying. I generally don't expect my dining experience to take 2+ hours. I would recommend this restaurant for both food and ambience, but be prepared that the service may be slow.

Im just happy to be here in this restaurant again!!! As I must say, Ive been coming to Aruba for 7 years and in this lovely restaurant too!

Upon arrival, I am greated so/so by the host. Which can't barely understand english. We were used to be greated with a very warmth welcome and a sweet smile by the lady host-- Jennifer; in which I've noticed that works on the floor now. Looi is so accommodating - such a lovely guy! He helped us professionaly in the wine question that we had that night. Nora is our waiter and she did a good job! We just had a lovely dinner that night and definitely be back!!!

Very romantic place to take your loved one. Malcolm was a professional waiter and the other staff at your disposal. Loved the stone dinners and it keeps them hot forever. You may want to consider having your steak done less because it will continue to cook on the hot stone. Great dining experience.

We have been enthralled with Papiamento on prior visits, and have considered it our favorite restaurant until now. All went well until our drinks were served. Within a few minutes the waiter asked 2 or 3 times if we were ready to order; served the salad almost immediately, and the entree before we finished a few bites of the salad. We were having coffee within 35 minutes of sitting down. We then waited 30 minutes for the check. When I came back in because the cab we had requested had apparently come and gone the Maitre D' said he would call another cab, but walked away into the restaurant. At no time were we rude or haughty to perhaps deserve such treatment!

If you are looking for very expensive fast food we recommend Papiamento. For gracious service, ambiance, and outstanding food we'll go to Le Dome.

My wife and I have been to Aruba every year for almost ten years. We have never been there without having dinner at Papiamento. Food, perhaps is not quite as good as, say Madam Jennettes, but the ambiance and the service more than make up for it. If you go to make reservations ask for Malcolm. He has been our waiter for 4 or 5 years now and all we can say is that he goes well above and beyond wait service. You will not be disapointed.
