Screaming Eagle
Screaming Eagle - taste and the pleasure of dining.

Our Chefs prepare fresh seafood - both locally caught and from around the world - in a modern interpretation. The meats proudly reveal their affinity to French cuisine. Healthy vegan and vegetarian options are a new and growing passion.

Great food screams for great wine to come along. And Screaming Eagle propelled the wine list to the next level, offering various levels of matching options to perfectly pair the food. Our mixologist and sommelier has many more liquid dreams at your disposal.

The whole package is compelling, hence Screaming Eagle was voted best restaurant in the Caribbean by ‘Caribbean Journal’ in 2015! Repeating to make a mark on the Top 50 list ever since, securing a Top 5 slot each following year, adding ‘Caribbean Chef of the Year Award’ in 2017. And striving.

Welcome to deliciousness!

Screaming Eagle is a WOW from the beautiful ambiance, the cool beds (we've had dessert there in the past), to the delicious food. We were first treated by the chef to a small gazpacho, then had our appetizers. Everyone but me ordered the lobster bisque which was light and tasty and even had pieces of lobster. I had the grilled calamari in pesto. I hope it is still on the menu next year! The Indonesian ribs with wonderfully flavored rice was delicious and well priced. The tiger shrimp on noodles was also enjoyed (a bit pricier), as was the tenderloin and garlic shrimp.
The creme brulee was served with a large scoop of raspberry sherbet, decorated with a cookie, as well as a piece of praline -- yum, but it was the presentation of the tasso famossa that made my eyes widen. What could be wrong with a chocolate cup - with handle - filled with tia maria, orange sherbert, chocolate mousse and whipped cream. Nothing, it was perfect. Again, I hope it is still on the menu next year, because we will be returning.

This was our third trip to Aruba. We have never been more disappointed in a meal and overall dining experience than at Screaming Eagle!!! I had read so many favorable reviews. I basically dragged my husband there based on the advertisements of a lounge atmosphere, martini menu and private bed areas. It was a Wednesday evening and you could hear crickets in the place. We were one of maybe five tables in the entire restaurant- bad sign there. Our server never even offered to show me this infamous cocktail card so I ordered a glass of white wine. They say the menu is international, except they fail to inform you that every other dish has quail eggs, sweetbreads or some other exotic ingredient that has limited appeal. I ordered the carpaccio of artichoke which was different but quite good and my husband played it safe with shrimp cocktail. And then, there were the entrees. My husband's scallops were uneventful at best and my veal was inedible. This is partially my fault since I should have ordered seafood, but it is their fault for putting it on the menu and not knowing how to prepare it. It was a race to the finish also; we are not sure since it was a slow evening if the servers wanted to get out of there, but we had the check within an hour. Even with a subpar meal, our server failed to invigorate the vibe this place advertises to have by not offering YET AGAIN the cocktail card or the bed area for lounging with an after dinner drink. It was no loss since we could not wait to get out of there. The irony is this restaurant could be incredible, with its ambiance and affiliation with Flying Fishbone. However, it missed the mark completely. I may give it a go again and order different things next time I visit the island. A total flop just doesn't seem possible considering all of our other positive dining experiences in Aruba, but my husband is staying at the hotel!

Screaming Eagle is by far one of the best restaurants in Aruba. The food is excellent, the staff very attentive, and the atmosphere very much like something you'd find in South Beach. If you want a very different dining eperience make a reservation for one of the beds (#60,61,or 62 all have headboards; the other two don't)and have dinner served very elegantly in the bed--what fun! Enjoy!

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and we went to Screaming Eagle for July 4th. The food, both appetizers and main courses were wonderful. My husband had the sirloin and I had the veal chop, they were both tremendous. It was the best meal we had on the island and perhaps one of the best meals we have ever had. Make sure to try Screaming Eagle, you will not be disappointed!!

Screaming Eagle is another of our new favorite restaurants in Aruba. After visiting for the last 14 years, this restaurant is refreshing in not only it's atmosphere, but it's cuisine as well. My husband order the carte blanche and it was as if the chef had read his mind. The food was all cooked perfectly and service was well paced. We look forward to returning.
