Screaming Eagle
Screaming Eagle - taste and the pleasure of dining.

Our Chefs prepare fresh seafood - both locally caught and from around the world - in a modern interpretation. The meats proudly reveal their affinity to French cuisine. Healthy vegan and vegetarian options are a new and growing passion.

Great food screams for great wine to come along. And Screaming Eagle propelled the wine list to the next level, offering various levels of matching options to perfectly pair the food. Our mixologist and sommelier has many more liquid dreams at your disposal.

The whole package is compelling, hence Screaming Eagle was voted best restaurant in the Caribbean by ‘Caribbean Journal’ in 2015! Repeating to make a mark on the Top 50 list ever since, securing a Top 5 slot each following year, adding ‘Caribbean Chef of the Year Award’ in 2017. And striving.

Welcome to deliciousness!

Unbelievable experience. This restaurant has beds that you can lay in and have dinner. Yes, I said beds. Just what you expect on an island like Aruba. They also have tables and outdoor seating. Juan our server was outstanding with all his recommendations, service, and general conversation. Had an outstanding meal with a great wine that Juan recommended. I got a filet migon and they actually prepared the suace for it bedside. My wife got a Thai Shrimp dish that she loved. Then we had desert. I had the triple mousse and my wife had the Tarte Tatin and she loved it. Anyone looking for the ultimate romantic dinner must visit the Screaming Eagle restaurant. You will not be unhappy with the choice.

This was a last minute choice for my husband and I. Again, we really utilized this site to choose restaurants, as it was our 1st time in Aruba. This one did not disappoint. Service was excellent. Waitstaff was very helpful in selection. Again, we had at least two people waiting on our table at all times plus someone who delivered our food and checked to make sure all was well. The food was yummy. We both had the grouper dish with asparagus and risotto. Ughh.. YUMMY! Prices were a bit high which limited our selection but ambiance was fabulous and unique. The menu selection was good from beef, chicken, seafood, lamb and duck. Wine selection was good but pricey for wines by the glass. Dress was casual and we didn't need a reservation but it wasn't the busiest season of the year either. Overall, we would definitely visit again because of great service, ambiance and good unique food.

We had reservations here for our anniversary, but due to other circumstances went a day early. The place was not very busy, but they did not space people out. Tables seemed close together. I was hoping for a special experience and it just wasn’t there. They brought out a tomato gazpacho sample, then we had the lobster bisque and escargot. The lobster bisque was very good, creamy style with nice pieces of lobster in it. Escargot was average. I had the bacon wrapped angus tenderloin and hubby had the angus ribeye. The entrees came with asparagus and potatoes. We finished our wine “in bed”. Another server came and said she would be taking care of us and we didn’t see her again. Fortunately our orginal server came by eventually to take our orders. We ordered the chocolate brownie to share for dessert. It was supposed to come with macadamia nut ice cream, but it was only a small lonely brownie on the plate. Also had to try their Celebrity Martini which was tasty. I was disappointed in our dining experience here primarily due to service. The entrees were the most expensive and not worthy. Probably would not return or recommend.

I had a fly in my water and a long hair in my main dish. The food all looked and tasted like it was reheated. Moreover, I found the food bland. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Wow, what a disappointment from a little over a year ago. Last time I ate at the SE it was so good. This year, what a cluster. We sat down to dinner and a waiter walked out with a drink. They didn't know who it belonged to so they just gave it to my husband and said it would be on the house... well it wasn't on the house, it was on the bill.

He wanted to order the chef's special, the waiter said two people had to order it. (Why? Beats me, we didn't get the same dish.) I informed the waiter, I just don't care for seafood. So for an appetizer, they brought me tuna tartar and lobster bisque. I was able to switch with my husband. So dinner comes and he gets lamb and I get... you guessed it a plate of fish... three different kinds no less. Husband wasn't impressed with his lamb either.

The waiter didn't even bother to ask how anything was or even notice I didn't eat anything.

What a waste of $200.00.

This was such a disappointment AGAIN. We attend every year and stay nearby...and I won't even give this restaurant a try again. Try taking risotto off of the menu until you know how to make it. Please do something about the service; you can't charge prices like that for barely adequate food and stressful service. Such a shame since the theme and decor and atmosphere is incredible.

I think this restaurant has a serious service problem that should really worry their management. I did go there twice during the last two weeks because we were staying close by, but twice the service was poor. The food is good, though I think not really consistent... I like the atmosphere, but on our second visit it was pretty noisy and not really relaxed. The service really needs a boost to deserve a second place in this top 10. Please pay more attention to your guests and really become a good restaurant!

We were there for New Years Eve 2008/2009. Everything about the restuarant was supurb. It was beyond our wildest expectation. We made the reservation sight unseen a month in advance for party of 11. We requested the outside and prefered it over the indoor seeting for a larger group. Indoors is great too. The service and food was terrific. The prices were reasonable for the island. We will definately be back.

FABULOUS! We visited in March 2009 and everything was extraordinary - Food, Service (Go Arminda!) and Atmosphere. Everyone, including our three teenagers, loved Screaming Eagle! We can't wait to visit again!

Our dining experience was superb. Everything was great. My husband and I tend to be particular about our restaurant dining. That is why I am a little surprised about a couple of negative reviews....but please don't judge by the few when you compare to the amount of excellent reviews. I was hesitant, but I trusted my gut. Most of the reviews were good, so we thought we would give it a try. Well, I don't regret at all!
