Screaming Eagle
Screaming Eagle - taste and the pleasure of dining.

Our Chefs prepare fresh seafood - both locally caught and from around the world - in a modern interpretation. The meats proudly reveal their affinity to French cuisine. Healthy vegan and vegetarian options are a new and growing passion.

Great food screams for great wine to come along. And Screaming Eagle propelled the wine list to the next level, offering various levels of matching options to perfectly pair the food. Our mixologist and sommelier has many more liquid dreams at your disposal.

The whole package is compelling, hence Screaming Eagle was voted best restaurant in the Caribbean by ‘Caribbean Journal’ in 2015! Repeating to make a mark on the Top 50 list ever since, securing a Top 5 slot each following year, adding ‘Caribbean Chef of the Year Award’ in 2017. And striving.

Welcome to deliciousness!

We dined at the Screaming Eagle two of our seven nights in Aruba. We discovered this great restauarant last year (and ate twice there that week as well). Our waiter, Jean, was excellent - so good that we requested him for our second trip to the restaurant. The look and feel of the restaurant is the best on the island. The menu selection is vast and the daily specials offer some unique options. We had tuna-tartar, shrimp cocktail, cesaer salad, surf/turf, grouper, tiger shrimp (a delicious sauce but a bit too much on the plate) and the angus tenderloin. Each meal had some wonderful side dishes and each complimented the main meat/fish. The wine list is vast and the prices were very reasonable. We LOVE the Screaming Eagle and look forward to more dinners next year! You should GO! GO! GO!

We were in Aruba for five nights and ate at the Screaming Eagle the first night. We ended up eating there two other nights for a total of three dinners. We love it. The menu is excellent and the quality of the food is very high, as is the skill of the chef. The host Arnaud was very professional and worked hard to make our dining experience very enjoyable. The table service (waiters and servers) was very friend and attentive. And don't miss the tiramisu mousse desert with key lime granite. We drank wine by the glass and found the total cost to be very reasonable, especially compared to other much higher priced restaurants whose menu and food was not as good. We hope to return to Aruba next year and can't wait to eat the good food at the Screaming Eagle again.

My husband and I went to Screaming Eagle after we met a couple at our resort who gave it great reviews. We were very happy with our decision and loved our meal. We had apple mojitos, dutch oysters, tuna tartare, surf and turf, and creme brulee- all of which were AWESOME. Alex the waiter was very friendly and helpful. The enviornment was really fun and upscale. We will go back again next year.

From the moment we entered Screaming Eagle, we knew we were in for an enjoyable evening. This restaurant displayed excellent service, fantastic tasting and displayed food, and a very modern fun atmosphere. Since we were there for a celebration, we enjoyed many items on the menu & the crepes prepared table side was fabulous. I highly recommend the grouper, crab salad, and calamari! This restaurant should defiantly be on your must dine list if you are looking for a chic time with excellent food. We’ll see you again next year!

Great evening, with a funny waitress, unprofessional but very polite young lady. My sirloin was not as I ordered it, but the chef knew better (told by our waitress). Furthermore was the celebrity martini amazing!

final conclusion: good evening time..

It started off when I tried to call in for reservations. They told me that none were needed and there were plenty of tables. When we arrived about 20 minutes later, the couple who walked in before us sat at the last "bed" table.

Do not tell us there are plenty of tables and not take a reservation when obviously you were 1 bed short.

We started our meal off and both appetizers we ordered (lobster bisque and the fresh oysters) were unavailable. The appetizers of grilled shrimp and the cream of mushroom soup were prepared well considering that those were spur of the moment choices and not what we had originally intended to order.

Our main course comprised of scallops and grilled shrimp - which I would not have ordered had I known that I was going to get shrimp for the appetizer because our original choices were not available. Since you cannot run out of something at 7:30 pm for dinner it means that they just didn't make it that night.

The main dishes were great if you a entree of butter with scallops or shrimp on the side. Basically they were so greasy from all the butter that you could feel your arteries clogging with each bite. Each time you bit down onto a scallop or took a bite of the risotto, all you could taste was the butter.

The only reason that the food did not receive worse marks was because the appetizers were ok.

The service by the wait staff was good however overall they received a 6 because of the fact that service includes having everything on the menu.

Needless to say, we did not stay for dessert. As for the price, it's one that you would find at any restaurant that considers itself four stars. If the food was good, I don't think there would be any complaints about the price. However, Screaming Eagle seems to aspire to be a 4 star but their food is comparable to that of a diner where I can get all the greese I want in my food.

I was craving seafood but didn't just want fish on a plate. I wanted to make my taste buds come alive. Something with some type of fusion, asian or french. I was so surprised to find Sreaming Eagle in Aruba, south beach decor with 5 star menu. We started with the ceviche. Wow,it was a perfect combination of citrus and spices. My taste buds were dancing with every bite. Probably the best ceviche I've ever had. The fish and carribean rock lobster were perfectly cooked, seasoned and accompanied. The waiter, maitre d and manager all made us feel so warm and special. However, everyone in Aruba is just too nice. Sometimes I have to pinch myself because where I come from its rare to get this kind of service. I can't wait to go back to Aruba and the first restaurant I dine at will be Screaming Eagle or maybe Flying Fishbone, either they will both be on our agenda. Thank you for making our trip to Aruba so amazing.
