Screaming Eagle
Screaming Eagle - taste and the pleasure of dining.

Our Chefs prepare fresh seafood - both locally caught and from around the world - in a modern interpretation. The meats proudly reveal their affinity to French cuisine. Healthy vegan and vegetarian options are a new and growing passion.

Great food screams for great wine to come along. And Screaming Eagle propelled the wine list to the next level, offering various levels of matching options to perfectly pair the food. Our mixologist and sommelier has many more liquid dreams at your disposal.

The whole package is compelling, hence Screaming Eagle was voted best restaurant in the Caribbean by ‘Caribbean Journal’ in 2015! Repeating to make a mark on the Top 50 list ever since, securing a Top 5 slot each following year, adding ‘Caribbean Chef of the Year Award’ in 2017. And striving.

Welcome to deliciousness!

My husband and I loved this restaurnat. Our dinner was wonderful. The food looked as good as it tasted. We shared the grilled calamari appetizer (It was plenty big for two to share). My husband had lamb chops and I had the sea scallops. Both were beautiful. Dessert was recommended by our waiter. A chocolate coffee cup (toally edible) filled with orange sherbert and whipped cream. Espresso and coffee were excellent. The atmosphere had a very Miami feel and was sexy and comfortable. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. The pace of the meal was perfect -- no rushing the courses. We were able to finish our wine before ordering dessert. Prices were not any more expensive than any other fine dinning establishment on the island. I can't wait to return!

We accidentally walked into the Screaming Eagle as we intended to go to Le Dome. We were that impressed by the ambience with all the beds and curtains that we decided to stay. Food and service put the dot on the i. I especially love the mix of classic and fusion dishes. The wine list is not that extended and we missed still a couple of names. And they have the Screaming Eagle Cabernet for something around 3000 US the bottle…

Screaming Eagle is very different from the Flying Fishbone, although they have the same owners. Screaming Eagle is very elegant and upscale; the night we dined there (June 4), one of the specials was Dover Sole for $54 (why anyone would order Dover Sole in the Caribbean is beyond me).

I had a Caesar salad, which was as good as any I've had in the States, and the fish of the day ($28), which was grouper - in a light sauce served with shrimp risotto and asparagus - no more expensive than anywhere else on the island. My husband had a calamari appetizer and lamb chops (~$31). The total bill was no more than Madame Janette.

We dined outdoors on a covered patio, across the street from Eagle Beach. You can also eat inside (air-conditioned, but not needed) at tables or in beds.

It can be outrageously expensive but not every main course is out of sight; there is a large selection in the $20's and low $30's. If you want a very nice, romantic evening, this is the place.

We ate at the Screaming Eagle after getting married @ Sunset on the beach in Manchebo(We Eloped). We had a wonderful romantic, intimate dinner on the very cool beds. The ambiance is very classy, trendy & sexy, This is a very unique experience that we will always remember on our trip to Aruba.
The food presentation was top notch gourmet, the lobster bisque soup was really good and my caramelized thai shrimp was excellent, my wife had the fish of the day(grouper)that she really enjoyed as well. The service was great(Thanks Jean)and we met the Sous Chef (Daan) who shared some of his secrets of the caramelized thai shrimp, in fact I am trying it tonight, Thanks Daan. Cost of fine dining in Aruba is spendy but definitely worth it if you pick the right spots! AND Screaming Eagle is a hot pick. Enjoy Roland & Jill (Just Married in Aruba May 26,2008.

Overall, the food was very good but somewhat uneven. Appetizers were excellent, although the escargots had an unusual herb and the thai marinated salmon was delicious but didn't have anything recognizably thai about it. For dinner, the shrimp were tasty but overdone, as was the yellowtail. To their credit, the waiter offered to replace the yellowtail and I ordered the deep fried truffle cheese instead (one of the specials) and that was truly outstanding. Service was outstanding as well; very attentive without being overbearing. Environment was upscale casual but not at all stuffy. Definitely would recommend this restaurant.

My wife is absolutely no fish eater but she really enjoyed the king's crab! I am a fish lover with worldwide experience and I must say that the lobster was superb! I asked for french fries (an odd question in a restaurant of this class), and just 10 minutes later a huge plate with true patatas fritas arrived! Excellent service. Very special music completed our heavenly happy feeling. Thanks Screaming Eagle,we love you!!

Good food, but not worth the prices. My wife ordered Maine Lobster at $65.

Lobster came out, and the claws were cut off, and the only meat was in the tail (and not a lot of it).

We notified the waiter, who had the manager come over to our table. They were all very nice, but did nothing to make up for the disappointment.

The prices are bordering on ridiculous. Most high-end restaurants in Aruba are expensive, but this one will cost you over $200 for 2 people. Very over-rated.

I dined here in April 2008 and have nothing but high accolades for Screaming Eagle. It's not a typical place on Aruba--it's something much more sophisticated and even daring. Beds line one wall of the interior portion, for example, and the menu offers flavor profiles that kept me eating well past the point when I was sated. To see veal sweetbreads on the menu (best I've ever had, by the way) suggested to me that Chef Mike was really interested in pleasing the palates of foodies and discriminating diners, although I'm certain the menu has something to accommodate anyone. The Dutch oysters were excellent as well, and the wine list has some excellent selections consummate with the quality of the food.

I can't relate to the negative reviews here...the restaurant has only been open in current form for 10 months as of this writing, so perhaps there were some growing pains earlier on. Screaming Eagle is in the elite class of Aruban restaurants and is worth at least one visit on your trip if you're looking for the upscale Aruban experience. Despite the quality and chic atmosphere, there's no snobbery and the prices are quite reasonable compared to a similar dining experience in New York, for example.

Everything was totally outstanding. All servers were
extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the food. The head chef and baker took time to converse with us which was a wonderful experience. A perfect dinner in every aspect of fine dining! Hope to see you next year,
