Screaming Eagle
Screaming Eagle - taste and the pleasure of dining.

Our Chefs prepare fresh seafood - both locally caught and from around the world - in a modern interpretation. The meats proudly reveal their affinity to French cuisine. Healthy vegan and vegetarian options are a new and growing passion.

Great food screams for great wine to come along. And Screaming Eagle propelled the wine list to the next level, offering various levels of matching options to perfectly pair the food. Our mixologist and sommelier has many more liquid dreams at your disposal.

The whole package is compelling, hence Screaming Eagle was voted best restaurant in the Caribbean by ‘Caribbean Journal’ in 2015! Repeating to make a mark on the Top 50 list ever since, securing a Top 5 slot each following year, adding ‘Caribbean Chef of the Year Award’ in 2017. And striving.

Welcome to deliciousness!

A Manhattan/Hamptons level dining experience with the Aruban flavor you need. Two trips in three days was worth it for the grouper, fine wines and friendly staff. What a great place to eat and relax with owner Daniel making the welcome warm. I enjoyed the Dutch staff who were students from the homeland studying the restaurant business. Wow I thought it was outstanding......

We were in Aruba last October 08. We had dinner here with 6 people. The food was very good, the service was outstanding. The enviroment was comforatble. A definite place to try, you won't be disappointed. We have been coming to Aruba for 10 years and have tried alot of restaurants, this was is clearly one of the best new ones. It's also a sister restaurant of the Flying Fishbone, which is also excellent.

We went to the Screaming Eagle on October 17th. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was very romantic. I had the scallops and my husband had the sea bass--both were great. We also bought a bottle of wine and had the chocolate mousse cup for dessert. While the meal and ambiance were wonderful, the service was horrible. When we first arrived our waitress had our table, and 2 others, one of which moved to the beds for dessert. We received more attention from the girl who was busing the tables than we did from our waitress. Thankfully the tip was not automatically included in the final bill.

My husband and I enjoyed many fine restaurants on Aruba, Madame Janettes, Le Dome, Flying Fishbone, etc. The food here is excellent, the atmosphere great. Our only complaint was the service. We had a very lovely waitress who was model beautiful, but she really should go into modelling, because waitressing is not her thing. The other tables who had waiters, didn't seem to have any problems. She didn't ask if we had questions about the menu, was never around for more water, drinks, etc. The two tables next to us sat after, and were gone a good 25 minutes before. It took 15 minutes just to get the check. That was after telling her to please get the check. Lovely girl, but modeling really would be a better line of work.

One of the best!!! We celebrated our anniversary here on October 11th and it was everything we had hoped for and more. The atmosphere was awesome....we chose to eat outside which was beautiful. Although the restaurant is located on a main street, it is not a busy section and very few cars went by.

The manager, Daan, waited on us and he made the meal. Ask for him if you can. We had lobster bisque and escargots for starters and they were perfect. I had the duck which was different from home, but outstanding. My wife had the tenderloin which was so good, we took the leftovers home with us.

As for dessert, don't miss the chocolate cup & saucer filled with ice cream and mousse. We had this served inside on one of the beds [great idea, but they don't change the linens after each guest...only each night which means that they can be quite dirty from other people that evening]which was fun.

As far as service, this is fine dining and you should expect to spend at least 2 hours as their staff is still training, but it is well worth the visit and I'm sure that this will be the best restaurant in Aruba if it isn't already.

We arrived at 7:30p for our 7:30p reservation. We had to wait 15 minutes for our table. In the mean time three unsupervised children were running and jumping all over the beds and climbing on the walls. The management didn’t seem to care. We did. We almost left. We didn’t, but that was two strikes. By the end of the night the restaurant hit a home run. The food and service were excellent. We though the music was a bit too loud. Definitely worth a trip back.
