Outstanding restaurant.

This restaurant was recommended to us by one of the girls working at the front desk of our resort. We stopped back by the desk later that nite to thank her for the excellent recommendation.

The service was great, the food delicious, I would definately go back.

Four of us visited Sole mare on Aug 16, 2005. This resturant has great southern Italian cooking. Everyone in our party really enjoyed our meal. I have been going to Sole Mare for four years and I have never been disappointed. The prices are very reasonable and within walking distance of the highrise hotels on Palm Beach. If you try Sole Mare once you will return.

Good food , a little pricy for italian. Alfredo was not on the menu and they made for my daughter with shrimp. This was outstanding with shrimp tasting sweet like lobster. OUr seafood pasta was mostly calamari rings with one mussel and one clam AND 2 shrimp .fair with marinara sauce. Garlic sauce was good and very garlicly. Service was excellent. Dessert was fair with good tasting but tough tiramusi. My son was disapointed in the brioche dessert. Bright italian atmosphere in a very casual enviroment.

Our first time to Sole Mare, and definitely not our last. Rivaled Madame Janette as our best meal on the island. The eggplant appetizer was great, as was my seafood risotto. My daughter wanted Fettucine Alfredo, which was not on the menu - they made it for her and it was some of the best alfredo I've ever tasted. My tiramisu was also some of the best I've ever had. Service was outstanding as well.

Sole Mare is a southern Italian restaurant with a more casual atmosphere. Enjoyed dinner with friends at Sole Mare - great experience. We started the dinner with the octopus appetizer - excellent! The olive oil used is exceptional and definitely added to the flavor of the dish. Spaghetti with Parmesan cheese was delicious. It's prepared in a large round of Parmesan cheese, flamed with whiskey. The sauce was made from fresh tomatoes. very light and cooked perfectly al dente. Scampi over linguine was excellent. The waitress was charming, accomodating and ready to please our large group. The cannoli was perfect, nothing soggy about this creation. Would definitely go back. A $5 taxi ride from the High Rise hotel area.
