Best Sushi I've ever had and an awesome experience! My husband and I didn't decide to eat dinner until everything was practically closed. We stumbled upon Sushi-Ya (Costa Linda location) and it was the best thing that happended to us. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service, price and experience was top notch. We were the last customers and they made us feel very welcome. You have to get the Tuna Tataki roll. It was recommended to us by our server and it was just what our taste buds were looking for. If you are ever in Aruba, do not miss this restaurant. We will be back!

This review is for the Sushi-Ya in front of the Playa Linda resort. This was an amazing find... It's kind of tucked away from the street so it doesn't stick out like the other restaurants in the high-rise area. This was our second year in Aruba. Last year we hit all the restaurants that people told us about. This year we picked restaurants that nobody we talked to had reviewed. We found this restaurant by accident. It was 10:30pm on Saturday night and everything else was closed. We were starving and they were the last restaurant in the high-rise walking area that seemed to be open. We were lucky to have found this place. The food was OUTSTANDING. This was possibly the best sushi we have ever had. The atmosphere was romantic and peaceful, the staff was extremely friendly, and again the food outstanding. The prices were very reasonable too. The food was so good that we went back again on our last night (this time earlier), and when we finished our meal we contemplated coming back again for a late night snack since they are open til midnight, but we were out too late and missed it. This is the only restaurant in Aruba that that we visited twice in the same week in our 2 years in Aruba. When you are there ask for the Tuna Tetaki. It is not on the menu for some reason but is by far the BEST roll in the house. Also, the Panda (had banana on top and so many different flavors in a bite) and the Tropical. Amazing, Amazing, Amazing. Will definitely visit that restaurant again on our next trip.

I kid you not: best sushi I have had in my life. And I eat sushi twice a week. I was a little skeptical about approaching a sushi place in Aruba, but I still ordered a few rolls to go. The food was so good I returned later that night for more. The quality is outstanding and the selection is unique. Try the seared tuna sashimi with wasabi cream sauce.

As a local sushi lover I have been to almost all sushi restaurants on the island. Sushi Ya has by far the best sushi for the price on the island. I have been enjoying the sushi at Sushi Ya on a weekly basis trying the different dishes they have. The new restaurant in Playa Linda really outdoes that of Seaport Market Place not only in the environment but mostly in service and sushi. The different chefs have made a big difference in the presentation and taste of the sushi. I was impressed by the last one who made art of his sushi presentations, may the current chefs continue his work. I hope you will continue the great job while maintaining the high standard you set with your restaurant in Playa Linda.

My girlfriend and I love Japanese food and will visit any Japanese restaurant anywhere in the world. We have five in the town (Hilversum, Netherlands) we live and had Japanese in New Zealand, Indonesia, France, Amerika etc. But the Sushi-Ya in front of the Playa de Linda was the best yet. Excellent service, excellent food, clean toilets etc. We ate there three times during our two week holiday and had a wonderfull time. When the restaurant is fully booked, it may take a little while to get your food, but they tend to ease this by serving easier dishes earlier. Especially the Japanese/Carribean fushion was excellent! Well done guys! Just open for a couple of months and already the best Japanese we have ever had.

The sushi was very good. The menu was somewhat limited. I was looking for spicy tuna which they did not have on the menu. However, the rolls I ordered were very good. I would eat there again.

Wonderful sushi! I really enjoyed it. They were out of shrimp for the sushi, but everything else I had was wonderful. Would definately recommend.
