Since we left Aruba I have craved what I now know as the best meal anywhere on the planet. Let me get this out of the way first...I love good meat! I came with high expectations and found they were met and exceeded. Bring your appetite along with you because you will need it. Stay away from mixed drinks as they are quite expensive. Make sure to try a little of everything as I found nothing that I would not eat again.

Me and my wife have enjoyed Texas de Brazil's wonderful cuisine for several years now. The reason we continue to choose Texas de Brazil is because of their attention to detail and their amazing selection of well cooked food and imported items on the salad bar. It really is like visting a ballet, everything is timed to precision and prepared exactly the way we wanted it to be.

The salad bar is great. It has a wonderful selection to choose from. The portabella mushrooms were delecious. The also have soup and some hot items. My husband said the soup was very good. All of the meats were very tasty as were the sauces for the meats.Our waiter was attentive and and service was great.Our only complaint was it was so noicey,it was hard to hold a conversation.

Hadn't been for a couple of years. Salad bar has plenty of options and is a good value on its own. Meats were excellently prepared; very tasty. Servers on us from the get go; almost seemed rushed and they couldn't wait till we were out of there. Wine list is an expensive one. Music quite loud this night. Bill at the end of the evening was a bit of a shocker.

Our most expensive and worst meal on the island. 150 US for two of us (no wine, just two beer) and not worth it. I admit that I had no idea about the idea behind the place but it was not explained very well either and you cannot find a price in site!

If you eat a lot of food then you will enjoy this place but if not (as in our case, but not their fault) then I would say skip this place. Don't fill up on the salad bar and save room for the main reason you are there, the meat, the salad bar was good but not a must try.

One upsetting fact was the dessert was not included in the price and not explained to us. Expensive dessert and mediocre but very big servings (again a waste if you don't eat much).

The service was not bad and the meat bearers were polite and it was just the lack of explanation that was bad.

Great place, good service and really nice food. Especially the desert (choc cake with Vanilla cognac, wow!). There's hardly any space left for desert if you eat here, everything from the salad bar to the meats are extremely nice. Service is friendly, explains how the system with the green-red-all-you-can-eat-meat works.
It's a bit of a poshy and expensive place, we liked Amazonia a bit better, but it's a close call!

We had a birthday coupon (buy one dinner, get one free) so my friends and I decided to try this place.

Salad bar was excellent but we knew not to overload on it since there would be massive amounts of meat coming our way.

We ordered a pitcher of sangria which was good (not great, but good) and found out later that it was $44!

The meats they served were all very good, grilled well, with good flavor. Problem is that they make money off of my small appetite, and dollar for dollar, even though the meal was good, I would rather spend the same amount of money (or less) at a nice steak restaurant where you don't feel as rushed (the people constantly walking around with the skewers made for an unrelaxing evening.)

We did enjoy ourselves but even with the one free dinner, our bill for 3 people was still on the high side.

It's fun for the novelty though if you've never been to one of these places before.

My husband and I go every year to Aruba and we go to Texas de Brazil on our first night after a day of traveling. It is pricey but what place isn't in Arubaland? You certaintly get your monies worth on salad fixings and entree. I never got the dessert because I'm always too full. I have a taste of everything once and then go back for seconds and thirds on the meats I like. The kids like the dining experience as well. I never felt rushed nor ignored. Its worth going once especially when your going to be eating fish all week.

Back from Aruba this past week. Every year we go to Amazonia. Our hotel concierge kept telling us we have to try Texas de Brazil. I dont know why. Having been there I wont be back. Service was slow. Food was ok. Amazonia's product is superior. Good luck trying to be Amazonia

This is the best Brazilian Steakhouse on the island. We've tried Amazonian and Texas de Brazil. We've been to numerous other churrascarias in the U.S. therefore we know what to expect. The food, service and ambiance was outstanding. Texas de Brazil is priced equally with its competition, Amazonian, but offers a much higher quality level of meats and an authentic experience. The meats were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The only negative thing we can say is the dessert (creme brulee) arrived cold in the middle and not as described on the menu. However, the waiter promptly notified the manager and it was removed from our bill immediately without us having to ask. If you want an *authentic* Brazilian churrascaria experience, come here. I'm not sure how Amazonian will stay in business when its competition is less than a quarter mile away and is significantly better. Perhaps Amazonian should stop spending so much money on the advertisements on all the buses around town and purchase a higher quality meat. Texas de Brazil is worth a visit. Ask for the "picanha" (pronounced PICK-ahn-YA), you won't be disappointed.
