The flying fishbone was recommended to us by many of our friends who have been to Aruba. My husband took me there for my 40th birthday back in November 08. It was so fantastic. Food, service and the ambiance was out of this world. Need I say more! We had a table at the edge of the water. I was completely in awe. We loved Aruba so much we bought a timeshare at the marriot and are returning in June 09. The Flying Fishbone more then met our expectations! FABULOUS!!!!! A MUST DINNING EXPERIENCE! We will surely return on our next trip...

I have been in Aruba for 10 days with a few friends. Two days before we left we had dinner in this restaurant.
We made a reservation and when we arrived a table was ready at the beach!!After enjoying the beautiful scene we ordered. The service was very good, and the food delicious. The day after we decided to go back for our "last meal" on Aruba. And once again it was great!I hasd a great vacation and specially my last 2 days.
Thanks to the staff of Flying Fishbone.

It's worth going here at least once on your visit to Aruba as the atmosphere and sunset is AMAZING! The food however, I found that it was average at best and EXTREMELY over priced (expensive). There are so many EXCELLENT restaurants in Aruba that are priced right. Here you are paying for the atmosphere. The service is excellent and the ambiance is Amazing!

We have read many pro's and con's about this restaurant but decided we needed to try it for ourselves. Interesting experience to say the least. After applying bug spray before being seated, we had to get up in the middle of the meal to apply bug spray again, including even spraying our faces. The chairs were very uncomfortable and the cushions were sopping wet because it had rained earlier in the day. So much for wearing nice clothes to dinner. The biggest surprise (not mentioned on the food menu as far as we know) is that there are no free refills for tea. At $4 a glass, we racked up $24 in charges for tea. The salads were the best we've ever eaten, however the entres were extremely over-cooked. I think if you're young and in love, you'll overlook everything but the beautiful view while dining at the waters edge and you'll have a wonderful time. Otherwise, be prepared for an expensive evening that is uncomfortable and disappointing.

Great food, beautiful view! A little far to get to, but the friendly service and romantic atmosphere makes up for it. Nice place for a special occasion.
