I had the pleasure of dining at the Flying Fishbone in January 2007. The atmosphere and view of the beach are superb. Some of the tables are on the beach, but we ate upstairs on the balcony where we had a better view of the sunset. Our waitress, Marta, was outstanding---attentive, friendly, helpful, prompt. Dinner at FF was a magnificent experience that will be one of my fondest memories of Aruba.

This was our second visit to the restaurant. We were very much looking forward to it. Our table was lovely and so was the view. Then came the mice that were crawling over our feet while we were eating our dinner. We had to ask to have our table moved so that we could at least enjoy our desert. When we told the management about the problem they were aware of it but did nothing to make us feel more comfortable. I have contacted the management by e-mail but never heard back from the,

The Food was good but the place is about 45 minutes away (during 5-6pm trafic hour, 30 minutes with no traffic) from the hi-rise hotels. The service was good but very slow. It took us about 2 hours and 45 minutes to eat. So calculate that with the commute it was a 4 hour dinner. The place is located right on the beach so make sure you leave early to catch the sunset.

My wife, daughter and I had a wonderful evening at Flying Fishbone. Our meals were very good and the presentation excellent. The wait staff is well informed and pleasant. The wine list is complete. There were a few families with small children but none were disturbing. We rate this resturant high but we didn't like the trek across half the island to get there. Make sure you have good directions before you start out from the hotel.

Me and my wife had a great evening. Though the weather at the Radison was cloudy we were surprised to find a blue sky and a perfect sunset at the Flying Fishbone. The dinner was marvelous, we only couldn't get a table with the feet in the water. So be early. Besides the romantic dining we loved the saxophone player. This night was unforgetable.

We had the most amazing dinner here ! The wait staff was wonderful, friendly and prompt(Michael) and the food was fabulous. My sea bass was cooked to perfection and the House special with shrimp and blue cheese was delicious. I also had the mussell appetizer was wonderful. Our meal was relaxing and unrushed, even the cappucino was excellent.
The atmosphere was great and the music provided by Delbert Bernabela was subtle and very enjoyable. I can't wait to return to eat by the water with my toes in the sand,,,,, yummm

Sadly dissapointed with our experience. The atmosphere is great -but we still were hot at 8:30pm. We didn't care for the food. Everything was mixed in together and you can't see well enough in the dark to watch out for things you don't like. My fish was just ok and piled on top of my mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. I'd prefer things to be separate. My husband had steak and lobster that was ok (not great). We won't be returning on our next trip. It was quite expensive for a dinner we didn't like not to mention the additional cab fare on top of it all!

This is the best there is in Aruba. The food, the view, the people, the atmosphere. Try it once and you'll be back. In two weeks we had dinner at ffb for three times: try the tuna tataki, parma salad, the shrimp shii-take and blue cheese casserolle: heavenly.
