Seems to be sinking from what it was

seems to be sinking from what it was, food was OK but servings of keeshi yeena were very small (served in a very small casserole dish) yet it was tasty. Entree of grouper was served with NO sides. none offered by the waiter either. nice portion of fish but just served on a plate with no sides and no garnish???? pricey for a slab of fish only. arugula salad was bland and served with almost no dressing and only 4 (yes four) blueberries. asked for more dressing and it came in perhaps the smallest little dish known to mankind. too bad because we used to really like the place but now would not go back. the only positive note was the escargot appetizer. plentiful and delicious.

A great experience!

Wait staff was the highlight. Kevin and Thomas are wonderful hosts. It’s everything we would expect from a quiet little corner of a busy paradise island experience.

Great Food, Great Service and Friendly Staff.

The Tulip is decorated in cheery Carribbean colors. Since we stayed at the MVC Eagle Beach for our visit the Tulip was our main source for meals. We enjoyed EVERY meal! Breakfast was a casual buffet and for lunch we mainly had the Caesar salad with/without chicken, very good. We had the Mixed grill, Lasagna, and seafood casserole. All were excellent, but the Lasana was my favoeite. The staff was attentive and friendly. Overall, I would definitely reccomend a visit to the Tulip Brasserie!

Good local dishes

Nice place with very good local dishes. reasonable prices and very good service. just one suggestion, don't go with a big group. service can get spotty and the kitchen can get backed up but with just regular size groups, 2 or 4, all is very good. we go every year and really like the place.

We eat every year at the Tulip and they never lets us down. The Mahi Mahi cakes are awesome. Went back for lunch one day and asked if I could have them again(they weren't on the lunch menu)and was told no problem. Theo, the waiter is delight to see every year and will make you feel welcomed. Every meal is always good. Everyone is warm and friendly.

No idea why this place has a high rating

We went on the recommendation of a family friend who I will NEVER listen to again! This place was terrible! The onion soup tasted like someone dumped a box of salt in it. The Brie with honey I could make at home. Nothing special. The homemade sangria tasted like
Cinnamon (there were probably more apples than wine in it and the apples were probably cured in cinnamon & sugar). The entrees...the grouper was previously frozen and mushy when served and the shrimp in my dish were not cooked nor were they fresh. There is no reason why you should not serve fresh seafood when you are that close to the sea! The wait staff and manager apologized and took a percentage off the bill which was nice but did make up for the second dinner that we went to eat. There are so many wonderful places to eat in Aruba don't waste your money here! And it is certainly not a budget restaurant either.

Simply great!

Food was great. Medium rare steak was just right, grouper with piña colata sauce was amazing. Kids menu offered a few choices. A little empty in the restaurant, but it was after 8 pm. Two appetizers, 2 entrees, kids meal and 1 drink came out to $105.

A Hidden Gem

We have been coming to aruba for 9 years and had always walked by Tulip but never eaten there. We decided to go there last night and had a terrific meal. the calamari appetizer was fresh and delicious. it was served a top a delicious salad. The grouper with the lime sauce was one of the best fish meals I have ever eaten. the upside down apple pie for dessert wasn't too sweet, just sweet enough. It was reasonably priced and the service was the best of any restaurant on the island that we have been too. Keep up the good work!

First Time

We have been coming to Aruba for years and have always passed Tulip. This year we are researching restaurants for our upcoming three weeks in Winter and have decided to eat in places where we haven't in the past. Tulip was a nice surprise. Our waiter, Kevin, was wonderful. He was attentive and agreeable to our every request. Two of us chose the $29.99 special. I had escargots, beef stroganoff and cheesecake for dessert. The wine was reasonable! Will we return in 8 weeks? Yes we will.
