Wacky Wahoo's

If you do not think this is, by far, the best restaurant in Aruba, I'd like to know what is better ? Went to Wacky Wahoo's twice during our recent trip. The one night the chef recommended that we get the Robolo fish & lobster special. He was right, it was awesome. The best in Aruba, bar none.

Went Twice with the same result. Crowded, more noisy then a flight line, why the hell did we come here....and then the food arrives and we are in heaven. I would kill to eat their blackened Wahoo over and over. Had it first time with fettuchini and second time with veggies.SIMPLY THE BEST MEALS I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY 66 YEARS OF LIFE. daughter had conche stew and loved it and wife had wahoo with scallops. Awesome.

Still the best place for fish on the island. Reservations are a must for this small store front. We both had the snapper. It was excellent as always. We tried the black bean soup which was very good.

We continue to believe that this place is one of, if not THE, best seafood place in ARUBA. Everything is terrible about this place BUT the food (and prices) remains so good that everything else palls in comparison. GO FOR THE FOOD - IGNORE EVERYTHING ELSE. Buy a T-shirt, wear it, and proudly proclaim yourself as one of the lucky people who have found and dined here. BE SURE TO MAKE RESERVATIONS.

Finally decided to try Wacky Wahoo after hearing great things for years. Thank God we did. A great meal was had by all!!!
This is an extremely casual, small, loud place in a little strip mall. It is nicely decorated and the service was very good.
The fish served is what is caught fresh that day, and it was obvious. From the red snapper, to grouper, and wahoo, all fish dishes were prepared perfectly and were very fresh. This place is know for its fish but there is meat on the menu that was also very good.
Great food, very good service...for a relaxing casual dinner....we will definitely be back!

the food we all had was great. good portions of food, good wine pours and good service. worth the trip but don't expect to hear everyone at the table. small storefront that is very noisy when full. but still worth the trip since the food is SOOOO good.

The Wacky Wahoo was recommend to my friends and I last year. The food was spectacular. We, 11 of us, went back this year. It is small and tight, but that what gives it its flair. Make a reservation, enjoy the food and drinks, and remember this is Aruba. The people are in no hurry --chill. It is one happy island. Relax, laugh, and have a good time.

Wacky Wahoos- parking lot crowded, place jam packed with noisy New York and New Jersey loud mouths (I am one) trying to out shout each other. People practically sitting in your lap. The best seafood meals we have ever ever had.We both had the cajun Wahoo mine alfreedo, my wifes with veggies. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!I asked the owner why he does'nt expand? He said that he feels the quality of the fresh fish would be gone. Saw a few couples annoyed by the turmoil certainly not romantic, but when food came out so did the smiles. As often as we can.

We find ourselves returning every year to Wacky Wahoo's for the best fish in Aruba. The service is wonderful, the staff is very friendly, and the food can't be beat. They also make a great cosmopolitan.

For dessert, you have to have their Aruba cake. It is delicious.

We will be back next year.
