Just imagine fresh fish caught that morning from the sparkling clear waters off the Aruban coast. Add to that imported Argentine meats, hand selected by the chef. Mix delicately with the herbs, spices and traditional ingredients of the Caribbean and finally combine it all with the knowledge and skill of a European trained chef.

Terrific experience. Service was top notch from our waiter Bryon. Food was delicious and simple. Atmosphere fine, feels like a local restaurant that just has good food, nothing fancy. Prices fair. Overall a terrific experience, will go to again.

Simply the best seafood place in Aruba!!!!! You can bet you will get one phenomenal dinner!!! I’ve had good to ok dinners all week long on our latest stay in Aruba 8/1 – 8/10. The staff was on vacation until 8/8 on our visit. We were lucky enough to get a reservation for 2 on their 1st day back (Aug 9th) serving dinner. The service is very attentive (not-overbearing). They are known and get high accolades for their Wahoo special. Unfortunately the owner said the Wahoo were too far out this time of season as the owner fishes during the day to server things fresh that evening. The wife ordered the seasonal house salad (nicely presented). She said it was delicious. I ordered the Aruban fish soup. Very fresh and flavorful (would order again). Wife ordered the grilled Mahi Mahi served over rice and a variety of vegetables (all cooked to perfection). She had the Mahi Mahi at other places in Aruba and in the States. She said this Mahi Mahi dish was far superior to all of the others… Trying to get over the fact that there wasn’t any Wahoo for their famous Wahoo special, I looked over their menu and the catches of the day (Mahi Mahi, Swordfish and Grouper). The waiter brought to my attention the special of the day (Snapper). He highly recommended it. After much hesitation I decided to go with the (snapper). The waiter was spot on with his recommendation!!!!!! This was the BEST fish dinner not only in Aruba but any that I’ve had anywhere period!!!! The snapper was grill and had a corn bread and tomato basil coating with sauce. It was served over a bed of rice and an assortment of vegetables (everything was cooked to perfectly). This is one restaurant that we will dine at multiple times during every visit to ARUBA. Kudos goes out to the cooks and waters keep up the GREAT work!!!

If you were only able to have 1 dinner in Aruba (in the high-rise area), make it Wacky Wahoo's. This place was so good, we went back a second time!

MAKE A RESERVATION. its a small spot and the word is out on this place, so you will most likely NOT get seated if you dont have one. we personally saw a group get turned away.

The food here is great. Tasty, fresh and what i can imagine to be authentic. serving sizes are pretty generous, and prices right on par with most of the others. we had the tiger prawn appetizer both times, it was great. even the little salad you get with it was great. i had the seafood platter, and on our second visit, the "catch of the day"- pan fried whole red snapper, delish.

No complaints on the service. everyone was very courteous and nice and very attentive. They even remembered that we were there earlier in the week.

I'll say it again, if you only have 1 dinner here- make it this place, you will not regret it!

Hands down the most delicious meal that we had while in Aruba! Fabulous! My husband and I both loved our meals. The fish was perfectly prepared and the presentation was lovely. We will definitely return on our next visit. Very tiny and busy, reservations are a must!

Wacky’s is consistently great food at reasonable prices. My husband was disappointed one night as he doesn’t eat seafood and they ran out of chicken. He tried the filet mignon in a peppercorn sauce and loved it. We’ve been there twice within the week and both times a table’s order was somehow delayed and the customers were pretty pissed when tables seated after them were getting their meals first. The restaurant is small and tightly packed with tables. You’ll need a reservation.

One of the best kept secrets on the restaurant scene in Aruba. Always great I almost don't want to tell people about it! Make reservations as more and more visitors seem to be finding it.

Great food, get the Wahoo special you will love it.

We have been coming to Aruba every year since 2000. We have been to the Wacky Wahoo every year since it has opened. First, if you want a fresh from the tap Balshi Beer, here is where you get it. We recently ate there on May 15th. It was absolutely amazing as ususal. One of the catch of the day was the Wahoo and the special had it with Tiger Shrimp. It was the best cooked fich on the island in my opinion. Their pan fry process is mouth watering. The flavor do no overtake the feshness of the Wahoo but positively accent it. If you have not been there in your visits to Aruba, you are missing a very special meal. Also, the prices are very reasonable.

If you want fresh fish with a great selection this is the place to go. The night I went they had 4 catch of the day: Grouper, Swordfish, Wahoo and whole Snapper. We started off with the pasta alfredo as an appitizer which they gave us a half order with out even asking. The portion was perfect for an appitizer. Then we had the Wahoo special and whole snapper. Both were great. The place is a small store front within walking distance from the highrises. It is crowded due to the size of the place but the food makes up for that.
