Windows on Aruba

By far the best place to eat on the Island. Sonja's smiling face greeted us last year and did the same this year. She was marvelous and even remembered us without us having to say we had visited previously.

Romalo was our server and his attention to detail and ability to explain all food was mouth watering.

The presentation was stunning and the food was even better. I haven't eaten at a better place on the Island.

The atmosphere, the staff, the amenities, the diverse menu and the exceptional food are a heavenly combination!

We continue to rave about it and told guests on the golf course to try it.

We dined at Windows three times during
our five weeks stay. The goat chesse
salad was to pretty to eat but I did
manage. All of our choices were excellent. Anne took such good care of
us. She is a breath of fresh air

My wife, daughter and I had dinner at Windows on Aruba last night. The food was incredible but the service was horrible. We sat down and ordered drinks, which came quite quickly. At this point the wait staff was very attentive and we ordered the main course. My wife and I ordered the Chateaubriand for two and my daughter ordered the spaghetti off the kids menu. The food came out hot and cooked just the way we wanted it. I had ordered a glass of wine with dinner but it did not come out with the meal. I kept looking for the waiter to remind him of the wine but he never stopped back. My daughter wanted more sauce for her spaghetti as well. I waited for a while and then began to eat my steak for fear the it would get cold. They never did show up until we asked someone else to get our waiter for us. By then it was too late and we had finished our meal. We let them know about the service and we did get an apology from one of the staff but the others didn't seem to care that much.

We are fairly easy to please but when you go to a nice place like Windows, you expect a bit more. We got better service at some of the lower end places we ate at on our trip. I assume that this is not the normal service they provide but I am still not sure I would go back.

An incredible special experience for more great memories of Aruba. Outstanding ambiance, decor, fare, presentation and service!! Cool open kitchen. A designers dream--- interior/exterior. We expected a lot from website yet so much more the evening we dined at Windows. This is the ultimate for a special occasion!!! Mildred our gracious server was a gem in every way. Pricey but so worth it -- especially the 13 dessert sampling- Yummy!!!

My husband and I just returned from Aruba and I cannot believe how we missed this restaurant on our past visits. Windows on Aruba has to be the most beautiful restaurant in all of Aruba. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. The views are awesome,we can't wait for our next visit.

What an amazing experience. The food is excellent. The staff treats you like royalty and the view is outstanding. Definitely will return to Windows on Aruba.

We recently went to aruba to celebrate our 40th anniversary and picked windows of aruba based on other people we had talked to on the island. we were not disappointed-from the gracious hostess and staff to the exceptional food and atmosphere. we enjoyed the lobster and beef tenderloin and they were prepared beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. they treated us special with champagne and dessert and even had the sax player come to our table to play. a very memorable evening and we will be back as we visit aruba often. a 10 star for sure.

We really liked this restaurant. Even though we made a reservation two weeks before we arrived, they didn't have one for us. But, they were able to seat us anyway by the window. The sunset was beautiful. I suggest you have dinner early to take advantage of the sunset!

I had the Carpaccio and my husband had the Romaine and Bacon salad as a starter. For the main course I had the Sea Bass and Risotto and he had the Shrimp and Scallops. We both had left-overs to take back; the portions were so big. Both meals were excellent. We had to try a dessert because of their dessert ratings and we weren't disappointed. It was somekind of combination of a Strawberry Mouse, a Chocolate cake, a Vanilla Creme Brulee and some other very creamy mixture to die for...

My only problem was when I asked our waitress for a recommendation for a starter (appetizer), she wasn't very helpful and she was very iffy on recommending the main course as well.

This was an elegant evening with excellent food and service. The hostess, Sonia was lovely and help make our evening a memorable one.

We had an excellent meal there this past trip - our first time. The views and overall setting are spectacular, as was the service. Although more formal than most Aruba restaurants, the atmosphere was not stuffy and very relaxing. We will go back again.
