Windows on Aruba

We recently came back from our 9th trip to Aruba and dined at Windows twice while there. The lovely Sonja is the best hostess, it was over my birthday and she went over the top to make it sensational and another year of great memories. The food as always was perfect. I had the Sea Bass and my husband had the tenderloin. Both were done perfectly and the presentation was stellar!
We will never miss an opportunity to eat here even though we stay at an all inclusive. It is the most enjoyable dining experience.

My husband took me to Windows on Aruba to celebrate my birthday. Our hostess Sonja was so sweet and immediately brought us glasses of champagne for a toast. We were served by Shareen who did a fabulous job. The food was all the best we have had on the island and at the end they brought me an elegant hazelnut dessert with a candle in it and everyond sang happy birthday to me. It was all wonderful. Great food and great fun. Thank you all!!!

WOW, thank you to Sonja and Lynn that made us feel special, with the special signs, glass of champagne, even to "ginger ale" champagne for the kids. Sonja is a sweetheart, she took lots of pictures. The food was excellent. This is the place for a special evening. All the details are being taken care of. And come hungry, portions are very generous!

My new husband and I came to the Divi Divi All inclusive for our honeymoon, we had prepared ourselves not to eat off the resort due to the excess cost. Upon checking in we were offered a deal with Windows Over Aruba for $35us per person for a three course meal, we decided to take a chance....boy did it pay off! This was the most amazing meal and service we had the entire trip. The food was fantastic (Beef carpaccio & Fois Gras) (filet & Seabass) and the service was top notch. Seated immediately and upon finding out it was our honeymoon...the restaurant gave us complimentary champagne, took photos and finished off the meal with an additional dessert (Baked Alaskan) all at not additional charge. Once the sun went down...the show began, tons of huge frogs came up onto the links to feed below our window! We will be back that is a promise!

This was one of my favourite restaurants. Aruba has loads of great restaurants, we visited 4 of the current top 10 fine dining on this website & this one was by far true 'fine dining'. Whenever I asked for well done meat in Aruba it came pink so I would have to send it back but Windows got it spot on! I had duck with cous cous & my husband had fish with risotto, both presently perfectly. The restaurant is within the Divi hotel in the low rise area overlooking the golf course, the kitchen could be seen from the restaurant, very modern, just a little bit cold with the air con. Service was very good.

I went there after reading all the great reviews. The place was very pretty with a great view . The service was good and management obviously took pride in their restaurant.
Now for the negative
The atmosphere was very very stuffy and formal. I am 52 and was probably one or the younger people in the place . Not my style and not a place if you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere especially with kids.
To be fair my wife enjoyed her meal but I was very dissapointed with my food. The steak was so chewy in could barely swallow it. The menu was extremely limited in choice. The salad was very small and lacked taste. The food was boring and bland . I won't repeat again but most folks seem happy with the place

It was too hot to eat outdoors last September and we decided to have dinner at Windows of Aruba. (We had been here for brunch - which was excellent.) It couldn't have been nicer. It is somewhat elegant - probably more so than compared to other restaurants we ate at regularly in Aruba but the service couldn't have been more friendly and professional. I'd say relaxed in the best sense of the word. Our dinners were all terrific.

All I really need to say is we loved everything about Windows on Aruba so much that we ended up going twice. The service was fabulous, the food was spectacular, basically, I wish you would open a restaurant in New Jersey, USA!! Thankyou!!!!

We really enjoyed the atmosphere,service and food at this restaurant. Shareen was our server and she was wonderful she made sure everyone at our table had what we needed...but she even googled the recipe of a drink that I requested so she could give the bartender the recipe. Now only at Windows on Aruba with Shareen as your waitress/server will that every happen....Thanks Shareen
