Yemanja Woodfired Grill

In our opinion, the absolute best restaurant in Aruba. Yemanja has great tasting fresh food, interestingly prepared and presented! It is so delicious, we ate there 3 times during our 10 day vacation. The only request we have is that Yemanja would come to New York!

Jawel .. We hebben er een jaartje op moeten wachten maar t was het zeker waard! We zijn vorige week dinsdag aangekomen en gelijk woensdag weer heengegaan. Net als vorig jaar weer TOP!! Het menu was iets veranderd maar zeker nog zo lekker! We hebben heerlijk genoten van voor tot nagerecht en een lekker flesje wijn!De dames en heer op de werkvloer waren weer zeer attend en servicegericht! We gaan deze vakantie zeker nog een keer terug!

We ate here last year and had a wonderful meal. Unfortunately, this year was different. The food was excellent, but the service left much to be desired. You did not have a dedicated waiter; they floated all over the restaurant. Therefore, we were asked for our order by two waiters - our entree and dessert, but nobody ever poured our wine or refilled our water. The duck and tuna were excellent. It is too bad that the service was so disappointing.

One of two of the best meals we had all week. The outside patio, even though along the road, is quiet, softly lit and very cozy. Great atmosphere. We always seem to order the chef's specials so I really don't know if we ever ordered from the regular menu!This is one of our more expensive dinners, not because the prices are high, but we tend to linger here. A drink and appetiser, then dinner, and coffee.We usually don't order desert but love the grilled mango with coconut ice cream.Such a relaxing evening. Staff couldn't be nicer.

Best restaurant on the island, no doubt about it! We are locals and we tried a lot of restaurants. Yemanja has it all...great atmosphere, excellent food, the best service, reasonable prices, etc!

I love to go out and have dinner at different restaurants in Aruba with my girlfriend. We live in Aruba and have visited restaurants like El Gaucho, Ruth Chris, Lg smith, Madame Jeanette, Papiamento, Sunset grille, passions, flying fishbone, screaming eagle, pinchos you name it we've probably been there. We go out to dinner at least 2 times a month. Yemanja is by far the best restaurant we've visited. It is better than Madame Jeanette, which was my favorite. We are going there again for valentines day. We've just been there 2 weeks ago. There is no other better restaurant on the island! Again, a must if you are visiting Aruba. Trust a locals advise!

My brother and sister-law and I liked Yemanja Restaurant so much we went twice in one week while on vacation in February 2009. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and the food was excellent! The beef carpaccio is to die for! Will definitely go back in July!!

LOVE THIS PLACE! The food was delightful, the service was great and it's rare on the islands to be served at a good place. DO NOT MISS THIS ONE! We went a couple of times and it was still not enough! The onion soup is one of my fondest memories of Aruba!

My wife and I have eaten in many fine restaurants thoughout the world. Yemanju has it all, great food, great survice, surpurb enviornment and spectacular presentations. We look forward to going there every time were are in Aruba... Clearly Aruba's best restaurant by far.

We visit Yemanja several times and every time it was great. The tenderloin, the tuna tartar, the carpaccio, the scallops, it was all lovely. Also the employees we're very nice and gave us good advices, it was a wonderful atmosphere to have diner.
