Aruba-s only wood-fired grill restaurant! Beautifully situated in downtown Oranjestad, behind the Renaissance Hotel. Yemanja is relaxing and welcoming, with a passion for tradition and excellence. Seating is either inside (air-conditioned) or outside on a cozy terrace. Serving innovative Caribbean cuisine. Locally-caught fish, shrimp, prime cuts of beef, lamb, pork, duck and poultry are all prepared over a wood fire using mesquite and hickory. Also our appetizers & salads are a real treat! The result is succulent, tender and flavorful dishes that only wood-fire grilling can produce.

My wife and I visited Yemanja on the next to last day of our visit and both wish we'd gone sooner so we could have come back.
The food was fantastic!!!
The atmosphere was great - very relaxing (we ate outside, but inside looks great - remodeled from when it was Que Pasa).
Service was very attentive without being intrusive.
The hostess looked like a glamour model!
And all this at a very good price!!
We highly recommend visiting this restaurant AT LEAST once when you visit Aruba.
We'll certainly be back on our next visit!!

We come to Aruba for 6 weeks a year. Shame on us for not coming to Yemanja before !!! My wife insists that this was the best meal she has had on the island (Grouper with cheese and wine sauce) My steak was excellent. Service was perfect.

we have had a great evening with very good food.it was prepared with a lot of attention and the taste was in a good balance.
The atmosphere wa very nice,even when it was raining a bit.
Very nice service too.For us you are a number one!!

We were with 13 persons. It was amazing!
Such a nice people and fantastic taste of food.

we were with a group of 12 people, visiting aruba for only one day with our cruiseship, they opened the restaurant for a special lunch and it was a great experience!! Super food, very, very kind employees and also owners. They deserve a visit!!! You must try the food from there special grill...it is delicious!!!!!

My boyfriend and I just returned from our first trip to Aruba. Having researched what places were recommended, made a 12/22/08 reservation at Yemenja! We agree it was our best meal on the island! Salmom and Seafood Trio were great and dessert of mango ice cream and coconut mousse was amazing!!! Restaurant was nice enough to take charge of securing our 12/25/08 reservation at a sister restaurant. We knew we'd be singing Yemenja's praises before we even left the table. Outstanding!!!

Great Great Great! Best meal on the Island very fresh food beautifuly prepared... wonderful dining experience
very relaxing, we sat at the bar and enjoyed the evening breeze coming through the extra wide french style doors...
