Yemanja Woodfired Grill

An excellent restaurant. Great food and presentation. The remodelled building is gorgeous. The staff enjoyed all 8 of us including my 8 month old granddaughter and the service was wonderful.

Yemanja Wood Fired Grill saved the best for our last night in Aruba! All four of us enjoyed our meals immensely. It was a perfect night...great food & great friends sitting under the stars. The gazpacho,the tenderloin & the service was superb.The presentation was lovely & everything was of high quality. Diana the manager could not do enough for us and entertained us with pleasant conversation. Claudia our server was extremely attentive and very sweet. The only thing that disappointed us was that it was our last night and that we couldn't go back!! We will definitely return to Aruba & most certainly return to Yemanja!

Our last night in Aruba we wanted to try another new restaurant, we were lucky to find this one. This restarant is only open for 4 months. I'm sure it will be there for a very long time. Our server Ann and bartender Jost were both pleasant and helpful. I had the shrimp cocktail over a salad for an appetizer, the shrimp were tender and delicious. My husband had the greek salad which he enjoyed. I had the mix grill that had pieces of blu cheese, what a wonderful flavor. My husband had the seafood grill which he enjoyed. I had the brownie for dessert, my husband had a custard, great ending to a wonderful dinner. We will return to this restaurant next time in Aruba.

My husband and I were very much impressed by Yemanja Restaurant. First we got there accidentally, being chased in by the rain, however, our experience was so rewarding that the next day we returned for dinner. Highest words of appreciation for the entire personnel! We were truly impressed by the open kitchen, which can be visited at any time, and the chef would gladly provide you insight in his master cooking. Joost Borgers, the bartender, has the ability of making your evening memorable. Thank you for everything, and will be returning, indeed!

We are from Canada and read reviews before our trip Oct 21-Nov 11/07. Made reservations and found the restaurant during day-light. (just so we didn't get lost at night). The food was well prepared and portions large. We both loved the wine and friendly staff. In appreciation, we purchased a gift certificate for the owners of our apartment rental and they were extremely surprised. Hope they enjoyed it as much as we did. Took along some business cards and circulated while we were on the island. Can't wait to go again.

My wife and I spent three nights at Yemanja's Restaurant and Bar. We consider that it was the most outstanding dining experience we had in Aruba. Entourage and cleanliness were exemplary, and, what counts the most, its cuisine was extraordinary. All courses and deserts were delicious and their presentation attractive. Services were of highest quality and the staff very friendly. We can and will recommend Yemanja to our friends without any reservations!

After spending 4 nights in Aruba, my girlfriends and I asked a local where we should eat. A very friendly Arubian recommended Yemanja. It was the best meal we had during our trip. The Mahi Mahi was delicious and the chocolate mousse was a "must". With delicious food and a very friendly staff, we would definitely recommend it. Enjoy!

My wife and I had a great meal here. We loved the salmon salad, and the tenderloin was wonderful. I can not wait to go back again. Service was also top notch!!!

We decided to try this new restaurant in September and are glad we did. The food and service were excellent. Normally we eat fish while in Aruba but as the food is prepared over mesquite and hickory wood we tried the US strip steak. Wow! Medium rare and done to perfection. Jorge was a great host and made the evening a huge success.We liked it so much, we made reservations for later that week and invited friends to join us. This is a keeper. We will return.
