You are definitely paying for the location even though we were on the beach but my wife was staring at a the lights of a refinery. Very intimate setting but almost too dark at the table. Dinner was good - mussels were excellent!!! Dessert was OK but my wife ordered tiramasu and she shouldn't have. Staff was very attentive and made for a pleasant evening. 30 minute ride from the high-rise towers so plan accordingly.

We saw an ad and tried to find it. When we did we asked for reservation for a table where we'd get our feet wet and enjoy sunset. We got one for the next day at 5:30. We had to wait a little to be seated and we thought they were waiting for the table to clear. Then they led us to a table a few in from the water. Since we had reserved a water table we said we wait. After a while we where told they could give us the second table in but that a front water table woild have been a 5 PM reservation. We explained that we had made the reservation the day before with the understanding it was a front table or we would have made it earlier or another day. Since we had made the trek down from Eagle Beach, we agreed to wait on the upper terrace until a front table was available. Of course, that wasn't until after sunset. The view from the terrace was nice and they did buy us a drink for our inconvenience. We shared the seafood appetizer, which was very good. I had the lobster, good but a little bland, and my husband enjoyed the snapper. Dessert was slow in coming (after my husband finished his coffee) and the prices are a bit high (even for Aruba) but it you are paying for the location.

We just married today. The diner on the terasse overlooking the sea and beautiful sunset was magnificent. The food was delicious (also for vegetarians like one of us).
Thanks Joseline for her excellent service!
We look forward to join the Flying Fishbone next sunday again before traveling back to Switzerland.

This is a MUST. We went at sunset and it was amazing. All the staff was friendly even when they were constantly being bothered for a Kodak moment from all the guests. The food was good and we had a relaxing unrushed evening. Even our cab driver, Kenny, was very nice. Hope to visit it again

We have been going to Aruba for 25 years, put this on your list as a "must". It is not just eating out, truly a dining experience, the atmosphere is uncomparable, to my estimation, one of the top 5 in Aruba. Fine food & service, don't miss it! Make your reservation early.

On the 3th of October we were at the flying fishbone. Our waiter was Jef. Awesome guy ,very friendly and attentive. We ate the catch of the day the grouper and that fish was the best we ever had on aruba ! It was our 2th anniversary so jef gave us sparkles and an anniversary plate with our dessert ! That was very kind of him! Timely service was good and also the portion size. On the end jef gave us a card with the adress of this site and he asked us to write a review, so here we are ! We want to recommend Restaurant The Flying Fishbone to everyone !! We will soon come back at the fishbone!

I had the pleasure of dining at the F.F. on 9/27 with my fiance and his very good friend, Ann.. What an experience. We had a table on the beach for the sunset show which was breathtaking. Stan our waiter was excellant. The food came out at a relaxed pace, we were never hurried. We had the corn soup with lobster appetizer (yum). We all ordered Fish, which was cooked & seasoned to perfection. The Tiramisu was the best I ever had, light and moist - Oh, so tasty and a large size that was plenty for both me and my Guy! Although the price was on the high side, you get what you pay for and it was worth every cent. I wouldn't miss the Flying Fishbone experience! And if I get to Aruba again soon, I'll try to get there 2 nights... one night with a table in the water so that my feet will have as much fun as the rest of me.
