Que Pasa? - Restaurant - Bar & Art Gallery
Que Pasa Restaurant & Winebar has been a culinary institute since 1992. The restaurant is located in a historical merchant house in downtown Oranjestad, and its menu features a tasty variety of international specials, as well as freshly made sushi from their Dragonfly sushi station. Chef Michelle and her team go out of their way to make every night a culinary experience. The in-house wine connoisseur happily assists you in pairing the perfect wine with your dinner choice. At Que Pasa you will feel welcome and have a great time for sure. The friendly staff will serve you with a smile. And the food experience will keep you talking about it, even long after your visit.

One of our local friends recommended the restaurant,so we thought we would try something new,we were looking for something casual. It was easy to find and the menu was great. We were pleased with our meals and we even had left overs to take back to the hotel. We also learned that they owned Mirandi's, that has always been our favorite restaurant on the island now we have two. We will go back year after year and recommend it to our friends.

Love going to the local's place in town! We were sad that the upstairs was not open due to the heat in Sept but eating inside and seeing the local art made it worth the while. It is nice to get a fresh meal/off the blackboard, and not pay an arm/leg for it like you do by the hotels. We are always pleased with the food, service, is on top, and we will always return again and again!

We ventured out to this restaurant on Wed 9/1 after finding good reviews on this website. The food was good but most dishes were very salty. The major downside was the service. Our waitress took the order and then disappeared for the night until the end. The busboy must have been new. We constantly had to 'bother' him to fill our water glasses. When he brought us soup there was no spoon. When he cleared our appetizers and took the forks he didn't replace them. Part of the reason you dine out and overspend on food is to be served. The poor service ruined it for us and we will not return to this restaurant.

Que Pasa was a fun dining experience for our family of 5. We felt we got some of the spirit of the island and enjoyed it a lot. There is no ocean view but it was colorful and comfortable. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. There is parking just down the street a short walk from the restaurant. We actually went to Que Pasa because of another review that we read on this web site.

We enjoyed the whole dining experience; service was excellent, and we have to thank Suus, Claudia and Stijn for their friendliness and hospitality. It definitely stays on our Aruba list of restaurants

QP has been our favorite restaurant for a number of years. The food is outstanding and the service is excellent. The staff works together and is always helping each other. We recommend all our NJ customers and friends to eat here at least once during their stay.

I visited Que Pasa on June 17 and it was so great went back for a second visit on 21 June. The staff is very friendly and helpful while the food is extrodinary. I didn't expect this and was so glad we chose this restaurant. One of the staff, Linda, helped us alter one of the specials the way my wife wanted and it was superb. Linda has an infectious smile, a great personality and truly an asset to the restaurant.

My boyfriend and I went to Aruba last summer, and Que Pasa was by far our favorite restaurant. I was just thinking about how memorable our experiences at Que Pasa were, and decided it was about time to finally write this review.

I am a vegetarian but my boyfriend was not. Que Pasa had the best vegetarian options of any of the restaurants we went to in Aruba. My boyfriend also said that his meals at Que Pasa were the best he had on the island. I wish I could tell you what exactly we ate, but I can't remember. I just remember that the dishes were delicious and creative.

The atmosphere is fun, and the service is fantastic. During our last night on the island and our second dinner at Que Pasa, a freak storm knocked out the power on the entire island right after we sat down at our table. The servers brought "candles" (little lights that looked like candles) to everyone's tables, and continued to serve the customers. We hadn't even ordered yet, but they were still happy to make us whatever they could. That meal was just as good as our previous meal at Que Pasa.

At the end of our dinner, the restaurant had emptied out and it was pouring outside. Our very kind server offered us a ride to our hotel and we accepted. My boyfriend and I couldn't help but remark to each other, "This really is one happy island!"

We're not normally one to write reviews but didn't think it fair not to share Que Pasa with everyone.

Our first visit to Que Pasa was because the recommended restaurant we were going to visit was full - what luck for us though! The food is great - fresh, plentiful and beautifully prepared from a varied menu of local and international dishes at a very reasonable price. We liked it so much we went back four times in all in a two week period and each time were treated like old friends not just another customer which makes the whole experience even better.

The fact that you can take the menu home is also great - just makes me hungry every time I see it now we're back home and sad that we can't have something from it every night.

A nice eclectic menu that combines European, carribean, and asian cuisines. We had some appetizers, enjoyed the vegeratian special (even though we are not vegetarians). The sangria was very good. The food was great. Service was excellent -- say hello to Esmee, our waitress! We ate inside but they also have nice outdoor seating upstairs.
