Que Pasa? - Restaurant - Bar & Art Gallery
Que Pasa Restaurant & Winebar has been a culinary institute since 1992. The restaurant is located in a historical merchant house in downtown Oranjestad, and its menu features a tasty variety of international specials, as well as freshly made sushi from their Dragonfly sushi station. Chef Michelle and her team go out of their way to make every night a culinary experience. The in-house wine connoisseur happily assists you in pairing the perfect wine with your dinner choice. At Que Pasa you will feel welcome and have a great time for sure. The friendly staff will serve you with a smile. And the food experience will keep you talking about it, even long after your visit.

The best you can get on Aruba. During our stay last week, we visited this restaurant three times.
Excelent food (especially the "specials" on the menu-card), service and ambiance.
Before you pass away you have to see Napels, before you pass away you have been to Que Pasa.

Absolutely Fantastic!!! Great service and even Better food!! Price is still a little bit on the high side but it is worth it if you are in the mood for a great dinner!! Beautiful presentation on the food as well!! Make sure to visit the restrooms while you are there, they have the most unique and innovative way to really "dress" up a bathroom:) It was by far one of the better dinners that we had!!

Het restaurant is voorzien van veel warme kleuren, lampjes, kunststukjes aan de muren, een kleurrijk geheel.
Het eten is lekker, de bediening aardig en attent. Kan me voorstellen dat men een abonnement neemt hier!

During the 2,5 weeks we were Aruba, we had visited 5 or 6 restaurants. We have dinered three times in Que Pasa? and this restaurant was in our opinion the best. The crew is very friendly, the diners were great, the sangria also. We know for sure that we come back again to Que Pasa?

We visit Que Pasa several times when we are in Aruba. The food is always great, as is the service. Definitely child-friendly, they have crayons and a coloring page for the kids. The art and decor is really fun and interesting. Their banana fritters are amazing. Annemarie makes a great chocolate martini, too!

Visited Que Pasa 5 Mondays between Jan
23rd & Feb 27th. Love the food. Brought friends several weeks who also paid return visits. My husband enjoys the fish dish usually and I'm all for the tomato soup and fried brie salad.
The prices and service are great. A friendly shout out to Annmarie.

We'd been mostly eating at the beach/water front "top 5" restaurants to this point in our trip, and except for a few bright points, felt rather let down by the food we'd had.

Que Pasa was our 1st really good meal of the trip.

We ordered a pitcher of the red sangria. It was very good, altho we were not convinced that it was very strong and at ~$30 it wasn't cheap.

For appetizers, we had the beef carpaccio and tuna tataky. Both were very good (altho Yemanjas Tartare is slightly better).

For dinner I had the surf and turf.. beef tenderloin and tuna. This was the 1 place where Que Pasa stumbled. I asked for the Tuna to be rare we had a new-ish waiter, for whom we had to repeat our order more than once, so when it came out medium-well (at best), I wasn't too surprised they readily put in a 2nd order, which took longer than I thought it should (after all rare should require little cooking, right?), but it appears their kitchen did not comprehend rare, as this piece was maybe medium at best i.e. my beef was much redder than my Tuna so at this point point I gave up.. they'd put a whole 2nd helping of the saffron sauce on this 2nd piece of Tuna, and well the sauce was so good you could serve it on dirt, so I ate the medium Tuna (with sauce) and decided that would be good enough. The steak was very good, ironically more rare (for beef) than I usually order, but very good.

We sat outside on the upstairs deck, a tad warm, but had a good breeze for most of the dinner. I don't think Id have wanted to be inside/upstairs, as the breeze would not have been there.

So it was not a perfect meal, and they seemed understaffed (and as a consequence slow, and not returning to the table very often, i.e.. I knew I'd have to get up and flag them down to request a re-try on the Tuna as they wouldn't have otherwise been back anytime soon).

Even with the issues mentioned, it was once of our better meals of the trip and we'd definitely go back if/when we are able to return to Aruba.
