Que Pasa? - Restaurant - Bar & Art Gallery
Que Pasa Restaurant & Winebar has been a culinary institute since 1992. The restaurant is located in a historical merchant house in downtown Oranjestad, and its menu features a tasty variety of international specials, as well as freshly made sushi from their Dragonfly sushi station. Chef Michelle and her team go out of their way to make every night a culinary experience. The in-house wine connoisseur happily assists you in pairing the perfect wine with your dinner choice. At Que Pasa you will feel welcome and have a great time for sure. The friendly staff will serve you with a smile. And the food experience will keep you talking about it, even long after your visit.

Loes was our waitress and she was very helpful when we couldn't decide what to order. The menu offers many different choices and they all seemed so good. She was also very attentive. We recommend this restaurant and will come back again!

We LOVE Que Pasa. Don't let the name fool you -- it is not a Mexican place. It is a great place to eat only a couple of blocks from the Renaissance. Dick had a wonderful veal with mushroom sauce and Kim had a Tenderloin with red wine sauce. We really enjoyed talking to Marvin -- the boss and bartender that night. Our third time to QP in as many trips to Aruba and we continue to put it on our "must" list.

SOOOOOO GOOD!! My husband and i went here THREE TIMES during our week long stay in Aruba. We had the escargo appetizer, WONDERFUL. (and i dont even like that kid of thing, but they put cheese on it also). and the filet with red wine sauce is THE BEST STEAK I EVER HAD. We absolutely could not get enough of this place. It's a must try!

I have been going to Que Pasa every year for six years now. The food is always excellent and the staff is always helpful and friendly. The food is presented like a fancy restaurant despite the moderate prices. I always get the Banana Fritter for desert and it really is "To Live For". The restaurant is a mini art gallery with quirky art from local artists. Even the bathrooms are unique (be sure to look up). Que Pasa is one of my favorite restaurants on the island. I look forward to going there every year.

We are regulars to Aruba & Que Pasa!!! It is a local gem that is tucked on a street in downtown about 4 blocks north of the Mariott Renaissance. Usually you can eat outside, up on the terrace, but due to the heat & renovations we ate for the 1st time inside. The atmosphere is very fun, with bright colors, and lots of local art adorn the walls. We never order off the menu-always off the blackboard. Once again it was wonderful-we started with the tuna tartare appetizer special (very fresh & refreshing) and a grouper filet with cottage cheese/grapes and a pink peppercorn sauce with a choice of potatoes/rice/veggies. YUMMY!!!! Prices are very resonable for the amount of food that you are served and the service is extremely friendly. Don't miss this neighborhood gem!

We were in Aruba for one week and we had dinner twice at this restaurant. We chose to make this our last meal in Aruba before heading home. Both times our food was excellent. We asked for some substitutions and they were happy to accommodate. The service was wonderful! The shrimp pil pil is fantastic.

We went here for a rehersal dinner, which was buffet style and while that is typically a challenge for the food, it was still very impressive. Both the catch of the day, grouper, and the beef tenderloin had great flavor and surprisinly perfectly cooked despite being w/i a buffet. Atmosphere was very festive and fun...bright and ideal island nightlife feel. Sangria was also good (white & red) and the bathroom ceilings are a unique surprise.

What a place, first of all there was an old toothpick in the window. There was grease on the walls and on the paintwork. Conclusion NO CLEANING! How gross. Then the food, they serve Schnitzel. Cool a restaurant with these standards must serve a very good Schnitzel, but no. The Schnitzel came from the freezer, and the crust was all mushy and sloppy. So sad.
Then they serve crème brûlée...but not like this, the crust of sugar was nowhere to be found, until my girl had a big chunk of sugar in here mouth. so real bead.
Afterwards we went to get a bite elsewhere to forget this dreadful experience.

Ronald
Will never go back there.
