Que Pasa? - Restaurant - Bar & Art Gallery
Que Pasa Restaurant & Winebar has been a culinary institute since 1992. The restaurant is located in a historical merchant house in downtown Oranjestad, and its menu features a tasty variety of international specials, as well as freshly made sushi from their Dragonfly sushi station. Chef Michelle and her team go out of their way to make every night a culinary experience. The in-house wine connoisseur happily assists you in pairing the perfect wine with your dinner choice. At Que Pasa you will feel welcome and have a great time for sure. The friendly staff will serve you with a smile. And the food experience will keep you talking about it, even long after your visit.

This place was truly a delight! The dining experience was absolutely wonderful - friendly, upbeat and attentive staff who do not rush you but seem to genuinely be having fun and ensure that you do to. The food is excellent (some of the best fish we had on the island) and not over-priced. The atmosphere of the old Cunucu house is fun and colorful - would heartily recommend and will be back again.

Zijn in Sep. 2008 voor de tweede maal naar Aruba gegaan.
Uiteraard kwamen we ook weer een paar keer in Que Pasa terecht.
Ditmaal surf en turf geprobeerd.
Was heerlijk !

Just returned from 2 weeks in Aruba. Spent numerous evenings at Que Pasa. The bar area is great fun! Sangia both white and red were excellent. (I think we had at least 10 pitchers during our visits. Bartenders were not only welcoming but extremely attentive as well. This is a great spot for RED SOX fans as Marvin (owner/sometimes bartender)is also a big Sox fan.

Enjoyed a very nice meal on our last night on the island. We all ordered from the blackboard specials and were not disappointed. Fresh grilled grouper with goat cheese and a white sauce was delicious. The QUE Pasa Pasta was also enjoyed by one of our party.

If you're looking for good food, good drinks and good fun with a Aruban/Dutch flavor try Que Pasa. You wont be disappointed.

The restaurant has numerous dining rooms both downstairs and up for those looking for a quieter more intimate dining atmosphere.

Outstanding as usual. We ate here three times on our last visit a couple of weeks ago. We recommend this restaurant for many reasons but one of the things that keeps us coming back is the variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts to sample, especially over a period of time with repeat visits. The blackboard of specials in each of these categories changes daily and supplements and enhances the regular menu. Old favorites also reappear with slight tweeks. We almost always order the tataki for an appetizer and over the years have experienced a number of dishes and varieties of foods that we've never tasted anywhere else on the island.
An important key to the success of Que Pasa is consistency and the staff of chefs that create new and different entrees regularly. We estimate that we've eaten here 40 or so times in the last 10 years and we're always eager to return to see what will be on the menu.
Another reason for returning is the vibe here. The wait and bar staff is excellent...friendly, energetic and professional. Casual but not sloppy or uninvolved. These folks move and serve lots of meals and are gracious. The decor is funky caribbean and there is art work for sale throughout the restaurant. The upstairs has a special ambiance as well as it is mostly outdoors and has a great island feel to it.
We normally start our evenings with Apple martinis. This year we sampled their white sangria for the first time..OMG! Absolutely delicious with no skimping on flavor. As usual the banana fritters are one of our favorite desserts anywhere and we look forward to them every trip. We ordered them three times. If you're a french fry fanatic, try Que Pasa's. I know they're just potatoes but theirs are the best! Wish it were in our neighborhood back home....

We had dinner 5 times at Que Pasa during our last visit. we have dined there for many, many years since being recommended by Raffi from the Marriot. The food is always Delicious, Fresh, and Hot from the Kitchen. I always start with the Que Pasa Shrimp, which could be a lite meal in it's self. I wish they would serve this by the bucket full, It's that good! We always order off of the Blackboard. You never can go wrong with their Fresh Fish Dinner. On one night we had Grilled Barracuda, then on another night, we had Grilled Kingfish, both outstanding moist and flavorful. I love their Tenderloin steak, it's so tender Mmmmmm. I always ask for the Potato Gratin it's so Cheesy! I think they use Gouda Cheese. My Boyfiend doesn"t eat anything with butter, salt, or Dairy (he doesn't know what he's missing!) and they always accomodate his request because everything is cooked to order. The Takaki is outstanding and if the Tuna Tartar is on the menu, you should order it, it's that good! Haven't tried the Banana Fritters, never have any room, too full! But I've heard that they're great. Service is the Best!....Especially when Marvin is working the Bar. Can't wait to sit and enjoy a Plate of my Que Pasa Shrimp, while trying to name that tune!
Missing my nightly Dinners!

We had dinner at Que Pasa twice during our one week visit to Aruba this past July. We were joined by our friend who had never been to Aruba before. It was a perfect choice. The food and staff are all top notch and made her feel welcome. Que Pasa has been one of our favorites for several years now and the menu continues to offer us variety and choices.

If you are looking for local flavor than Que Pasa is the place to visit. It is located downstown in a quirky building-you cannot miss it. The food was great-my husband had the surf & turf and I had the curry fish dish. Both were on the special board and the food was awesome. We never order off the 'regular menu', the prices are fabulous, and the service is especially wonderful and attentive. We will be back!

Keep it up girls!!
