Que Pasa? - Restaurant - Bar & Art Gallery

We have been going to Que Pasa since 1989 - we have followed them through 3 locations. We love the ambience and food. Tonight they topped all of our previous meals. We had the Three Tail Special and it was fabulous! We have been to Aruba many times and we make sure to visit Que Pasa every time we come.

My second visit and both with the best expectations and the best experience.
First time with a friend it was an excellent night to share pleasant moments. then second time with coworkers to have an experience with an elegant moment.
Remember to wait until the recommendations from the blackboard daily suggestions from the chef.
Big portions so be careful.. the idea is to taste at least one of the desserts.
I could not.. then i have an excuse to return.

Food was very good.

Wife had the mahi mahi fish special. She said it was great.

I had the all you can eat Sushi. Very cheap $18. Thought the Sushi would be just average but boy was I wrong. It was VERY good.

Would visit again.

We came to this restaurant on a recommendation and boy were we glad we took it. The staff was accommodating and friendly, the place inviting and cheerful and the food was terrific.

Great food, fair price, diverse menu including some vegetarian options, eclectic decor, and friendly hosts. Our family of four, including one rather particular 12-year old, were all well-satisfied. Our meal included drinks, a variety of main dishes, and dessert.

We went to Que Pasa? for the first time tonight after reading many reviews online and hearing about it from friends.

Start to finish:
-French Onion soup was amazing, not watery and very delicious!

Dinner:
-Hanger steak special - very well prepared, gravy was excellent and portion was just right.
-Beef tenderloin - the most tender piece of meat we have ever had in Aruba--it literally melted in our mouthes!!! The portion looked too small, but after eating it, it was just the right amount. (the piece is a little bigger than your palm but at least 1.5 inches thick)
-Surf and Turf - After telling the owner that we didn't want the barracuda (which was the catch of the day), he was quick to make some other suggestions which were excellent. The tenderloin and shrimp that came with the entree also were excellent! (tenderloin, catch of the day, and shrimp, $26.50 USD--you cannot find better than that!)

Dessert:
-We ordered the homemade carrot cake which was not what we expected it to be at all--the cake was not the traditional brown carrot cake with cream cheese icing, instead it was more of a yellow cake with fresh shredded carrots. It was served with whipped cream and 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream on the side and had drizzled chocolate and caramel syrups across the dish.

Bottom Line: The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. The owner was constantly going from table to table asking how everything was and filling our glasses with water. When we arrived, he explained each special and told us how the various dishes were prepared. He was able to make suggestions based on what we liked and didn't like. Everything was fresh and delicious! We will definitely be going back for more!

We've been in town less than one week and have already been to Que Pasa twice. It's a longtime favorite as we've been dining with Marvin and the crew for 8 years. There's something for everyone on the menu. We had the delicious "Duo Steak" special -- hanger steak and filet mignon wrapped in bacon with mashed potatoes in a wonderful sauce with sautéed onions. All for $24.50!! I highly recommend going downtown to a wonderful restaurant.

It's always like coming home when we return to Que Pasa. Last September we ate there 3 times and enjoyed new entrees from their daily specials offerings along with new staff all trained beautifully to welcome guests who deliver attentive service. We couldn't have been happier! We can't wait to return again.

We love this restaurant, dinned 3 of the 5 nights on our last visit to Aruba. Great food and great service.
