With a great view of the rugged north coast and the country club golf course, this restaurant is definitely in a pleasant setting. The interior is also decorated well.

I only visited for their breakfast menu, so I can't comment on dessert. However, their breakfast is filling, well prepared, served hot, and priced below many of the breakfast buffets available at the larger resorts such as the Wyndham and Hyatt.

Breakfast plates $5-10.

Visited this resturant again this year and enjoyed the Sunday and Friday night specials for 24.95. Portions are good and the ambiance of sitting out on the veranda is GREAT!!...Also music of a saxaphonist is enjoyable...I always get this Big Aruban as our waiter and he is a pro...One small problem this year with the "strip steak and shrimp special...The steak was a thin slice of Prime rib instead of NY Strip..when challenged, they tried to say Oh well the prime rib is better...NOT!!!! Will always visit every year.

We went there for lunch during spa treatments at Tierra del Sol(which we highly recommend, having been to Okeanos, Intermezzo, and here).

We thought the prices were high for what you get. HOWEVER, the atmosphere on the outside veranda more than more made up for the price.

This place is very posh - reminded me of being in Scottsdale, AZ.

We had a wonderful meal (tuna steak and a whole red snapper complete with the head!) The view from our table on the veranda was great - could even see the lighthouse lit up at night.

Although a great meal and ambiance, I think it was a little on the expensive side. It's one that we will return to but not every year.

This is the restaurant at Tierra del Sol golf course. In addition to their usual menu, they offer a special for $24.95 on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. All the specials come with bread and butter, and a choice of soup or salad to start. The entrée on Wednesday is a filet mignon and small Caribbean lobster tail, served with garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. The entrée on Fridays is a seafood mixed grill with a small Caribbean lobster tail, shrimp, scallops, and a piece of salmon, served with garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. The entrée on Sunday is a strip steak and shrimp served with garlic mashed potatoes. We’ve had the Wednesday and Sunday specials in the past, and really enjoyed them, so we decided to try the Friday special. The seafood mixed grill was so good, we went back the following Friday for the same meal. Both times we started off with their crab cakes and shrimp appetizer, which was excellent. You have a choice of eating inside, or outside on their terrace. We prefer to eat outside. It is so relaxing to eat outside, especially in their very comfortable, padded chairs. They do have live entertainment.

Visited this beautiful restaurant on March 15,03. Came highly recommended by friends. Had a very mixed experience this evening. Greeted at the door by a dour hostess who barely acknowledged our presence. Requested a table overlooking the pool which is where everyone said we should sit and was told by her there was no table available. A waiter nearby informed her that there was a table and she reluctantly gave it to us. Not a very pleasant way to begin the evening. In 7 days on Aruba this was the only condescending person we met. The food was excellent, the atmosphere romantic and the Cuban sax player wonderful. The hostess should go back into the kitchen.

This restaurant is located on a golf course and the setting is absolutely beautiful. Dining out on the patio overlooking the pool is what I recommend. Food was good, service was very good. Nice for a romantic evening out.

Another favorite from our first visit in 2000. We reserved a table poolside at sunset. Unfortunately it was overcast and sunset was nearly non-existent. There was no wind either which made it uncomfortable, but we chose to remain at our outdoor table. I had the special of the day...Surf and Turf which included a salad and Gerry had the creole-rubbed filet, salad extra. Excellent choices and impeccable service. We stayed to listen to the saxophonist for a set who was arriving as we were leaving but did so inside with air conditioning.
